Shards of Nogard

A real indie gem for fantasy fans. Casual action platformer, it reminds me of the good old days with an interesting story (so far) and amazing soundtrack. recommendation!

The game is fun and it contains a lot of puzzles, it is entertaining and to be fair I spent some time playing it. It is challenging every now and then which makes it a perfect mix of chill and anger xD

The story has intrigued me so far, and I appreciate the balance between more relaxed moments and intense, sweat-inducing encounters. It’s different from what I typically play, but that’s exactly what makes it stand out. If I had one critique, it would be the hitbox detection—like in many similar games, it can sometimes be unclear when an attack will land or when I’m safely positioned. That said, this minor issue doesn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. All in all, Shards of Nogard is a well-crafted game that I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Shards of nogard is a throwback to the classic games. Whilst its no triple A visual spectacular, it has it's own charm and personality and works really well. Reminded me of Dragon Quest! Enjoyable game to kill the time , the story's quite fun too! Worth picking up!

Nostalgic, the game is immersive and can easily start to get lost in it. Reminds me of all the good times I had has a kid growing up with these type of games, it really does throw you back to the golden times.

A pretty cool platform game with a balanced difficulty. You alternate between 3 characters, each has their own ability. You unlock powers gradually to advance through the different levels composed of puzzles to solve at times. Scenes of races against the clock, passages reminiscent of other well-known games. In short, for a small game not even at 1$, it plays well with a pad and is accessible to everyone.

I hope the devs blow up one day, I see a lot of potentional from these guys!

fun indie gem with a lot of passion poured into it. takes inspirations from lots of other games of the past, so some of you might even recognize them from the early age of videogames. a true gem!
