Deep in the Woods has an impressively creepy vibe that pulls you in from the start. Set in an atmospheric forest, the game combines folk art styles with mystery. Every sound and shadow feels carefully placed, making you question if something’s lurking around the next corner. The gameplay leans more on exploration and puzzle-solving, allowing you to absorb the setting. It’s a bit of a slow burn, with a sense of dread that builds steadily—perfect for anyone who loves just the right amount of eeriness. The puzzles in this game are well thought out, offering just the right level of challenge. One thing I wish the game included, though, is achievements. Unlocking specific goals would add a little extra motivation when puzzles get tough, helping to push through. Deep in the Woods is a great pick if you’re into puzzle games with a dark, folklore-inspired atmosphere.
The story revolves around a child whose father was killed by a dark wolf. In order to save him, the kindly bird instructs him to travel through all four seasons and assist mythological creatures in exchange for runes. The game has a dark undertone and fascinating art that resembles a Grimm fairy tale. Everyone can play the game since all you have to do is click on objects on the screen and sometimes place them in the appropriate locations. Objects that can be interacted with or collected are not indicated, so you may need to spend some time clicking around. Although the scenes appear to be alive with objects moving about, there is hardly any interaction. If you click on a seemingly interesting object that is not part of the puzzle, nothing happens. Some interactions are not always visible, therefore a lack of feedback can be problematic. For example, in one scene, an important object is hidden under a seemingly innocuous rock and grass. Also, some things require multiple clicks to provide a result. So, if you click on it once and nothing happens, you might conclude that it is not important. Because everything can be done with a single mouse click, you can play the game with one hand. This also involves movement, as you can either click and drag the screen to travel left or right, or click on a bright circle to move forward or backward through the current scene. Scenes are limited to the current season, so you will not be overwhelmed by too many choices at once. Season is completed by placing items in the correct locations and completing logical puzzles. Inventory works similarly to other point-and-click games; simply grab an item from the inventory and drop it on the appropriate hotspot. You only get a few items, which frequently make sense. The other section consists of puzzles, which are also nothing new. There is clicking on the correct symbols, rearranging bits, drawing objects with a single line, and so on. Observation is important since hints are always present in the background or elsewhere in the scene.
ИГРАЮ В ИГРЫ, ЧТОБЫ ВАМ ТОЖЕ ПРИШЛОСЬ
отлично на вечер размять мозги и проверить свою внимательность
I enjoyed playing this one (on PC) and 7 hours later I finished it......There were times when you were given ZERO direction of what to do or even know you could do certain things. This is a point and click game but it is also on occasion a Click & Drag game. I think a "hint" system would really benefit some of the puzzles in each season, otherwise you'll need to have a walk through video on stand by to help you go through. It is a really beautiful game and the creatures are very very unique.......AND where the hell was Mom during all of this :) Is there an exit game button for this? Couldn't find that on the start up menu.
Game rất ổn nhé
For those are upset the game seems like a mobile game, just understand what "point and click" games are. This game was a beautiful puzzle game, it was easy to follow and had an amazing story.
