After putting more hours in to the game, I cannot recommend this title. The AI opponent difficulty is artificially bolstered by granting them the ability to act outside the rules of the game, while still making sub-optimal choices, otherwise. They generate currency and funds without having played cards or abilities for them. They gain levels without having spent currency or playing an ability. This title will certainly scratch the itch, to get some Shards of Infinity gameplay in, but I cannot recommend it to anyone that actually wants to play a fair and balanced game.
Moja ulubiona gra typ deck builder.
simple but fun
An excellent app release for a great tabletop dueling deckbuilder. Really intuitive to pick up and play, elegant and balanced design, plus some imaginative worldbuilding in the faction designs. Great game for hotseat and online duels, which this version does competently. It's fundamentally lacking the kinds of things these sorts of games need to blow up - achievements, metaprogression, even the existing expansions to the physical version are looking like they're not coming. There might be a tabletop sim build that's more complete, I haven't looked, and I don't know if I would like it more. This version is lightweight and easy to boot up, and with what's available here, I kind of get the picture. The lack of a more complete exploration stimulates my imagination, and for such an aerodynamic little game, I might prefer that to a more exhaustive and over-designed digital release.
I like the design of it. It's loyal to the cardgame IRL. I played it a lot offline during lonely train travels. It's sad though that the multiplayer doesn't work at all. I never managed to play agains another human player or friend. Only against AI.
Not worth getting over Ascension until there's more expansions for this. As it is, it's just a slightly different version of Ascension with a fraction of content and gets boring pretty fast.
This game murders base Star Realms (not with SR's expansions though). It's a decent digital version of a physical card game. The mastery mechanic giving extra usefulness to cards later in the game and adding a new win condition is genius. Unfortunately it would benefit greatly from the expansion, but it seems abandoned. There is a persistent bug that causes a crash if you join a lobby before the opponent and wait for them to join. In addition there is no matchmaking so it's quite hard to find people of equal skill to play with. Needless to say that it's strictly a 2 player game (there are CPU matches, but they are not very interesting)
Buen juego. Muy entretenido
výborne urobená jedna z najlepších kartovečiek od génia Justina Gary-ho (ascension)
Good system for playing, really teaches you things about the game that arent clear in the physical version.
