Si bien este es un juegazo, me parece bastante absurdo que este juego corra tan mal en computadora, si bien mi laptop no es muy potente actualmente, tampoco es que necesite de demasiados recursos para este juego, hasta la switch lo corre mejor y eso es decir mucho. si bien en parte fue mi error no verificar los requisitos del juego, tampoco es que hay que pensar mucho en que un juego de game boy advance me pida toda la computadora, ni seven sirens o half genie gero me piden tanto, por favor resuelvan esto

Overall a fun Shantae platform adventure game. I didn't find it difficult although there was a time I didn't know what to do next. Also it would had been nice if they included scanlines as an option.

Nice to see the return of the old pixel style (even though this one was planned and set before risky's revenge), also imo this one has the best soundtrack of the whole series

Game so good I legit completed it in two days because it’s all I wanted to play, will 100% later after pirates curse.

Finally got to play this entry in the Shantae Series and I was very much satisfied with my time spent on it. First of all is great to see the series go back to a pixelated look and see a lot of the sprites takes straight from the original Game Boy game and given it a new shiny look, it really does look like a lost GBA game through and through and that to me is definitely a plus. The old transformations are back in full force combined with the classic old power ups and they all feel perfectly in place it's a very smooth experience even if sometimes the enemies can be a bit too damage sponges. The game world is a bit small, a couple of one screen towns and 3 explorable areas with 3 dungeons, I like the plain switching mechanic although at times can be a tad confusing. Overall it's a fun game, it doesn't reach the heights of Pirate's Curse and I feel games like Seven Sirens do have a lot more to offer overall, but for what it is it's fine and it's also great for preservation that a once cancelled title has been unearthed and given an actual release.

While ultimately a very solid outing for Shantae, I can't help but think most fans will find this one a little bit disappointing. Something that I think held this game back by a massive amount was its reluctance to continue development on something other than the Gameboy Advance -- which definitely lowered the amount of capabilities for this game. However, looking at this game by itself with disregard of the other more bang for your buck entries, this one is just fine. Wait for a price drop or get it on sale.
