I start this game, set after the Cola Wars, and find the mysteries compelling. I must get to the depths of these. THE SECRETS WILL BE MINE! Through the depression era of Ocean City Somewhere Presumably New England, I wander dark streets with my goblin friend, hoping to find NO I CANNOT TELL THE SECRETS ARE MINE, MINE ALONE! <gibber gibber> <DEEP EYES> <FIIIIIIIISSSSHHHHHH>
super silly rpg
They say man does not fear the shadows, for what they truly fear is the unknown. And thus I fear Billy the maize protectorate, for I do not know who 𝘪𝘵 is.
Humorous and witty like the previous stellar entry. Runs like a dream and easy to play at your leisure. Most importantly: You can scritch the cat. In fact, there are many kitties throughout the game ripe for the scritching. 10/10
I've been a fan of Asymmetric Publications for years now and I fully enjoyed this game, it's well written and made me laugh several times with just item descriptions alone.
Surprisingly addictive—but I knew that before I headed into the game. Game file is absolutely tiny compared to other games, so you're losing absolutely nothing in downloading Shadows Over Loathing.....aside from a few hours of your life
Worked for the Mafia and helped a guy who's first name is Creamy, absolute cinema.
I mean this game is D1 fantastic. I can't imagine not playing it 100% all the way. the writers put so much thought and care into every joke and even on run 4 I'm laughing my everything off. What a great game! Play it, stop waiting!
Reminds me of Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness. Investigative RPG with a lot of comedy built in.
gloriously stupid sense of humor. one of my best purchases
