For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away.

Another poor point and click.
Enjoyable point and click adventure game Pros - Engaging story Good animation Good characters Cons - Overuse of dialogue 1 or 2 instances of pixel hunting. However these did not detract from my overall enjoyment of the game
Legal, apesar de eu não curtir esses jogos liberados em etapas.
Shadows on the Vatican – Act II: Wrath is a narrative-focused point-and-click adventure developed by Daring Touch in collaboration with 10th Art Studio, and published by Adventure Productions alongside Daring Touch. As the second chapter in an episodic series, it builds directly on the foundations laid by the first act, continuing a story rooted in political intrigue, religious conspiracy, and personal reckoning. Inspired by real-world controversies surrounding the Vatican and the themes explored in investigative literature, the game adopts a serious, mature tone that clearly targets fans of traditional adventure games who value story and atmosphere over fast-paced action. The narrative in Act II deepens the stakes considerably, shifting focus toward the consequences of past decisions and the tightening grip of hidden powers operating behind the scenes. Players once again step into the shoes of James Murphy, a former priest now living as a doctor, whose attempts at a quiet life are shattered by his entanglement with forces far larger than himself. Alongside him is Silvia, a highly trained assassin whose loyalty to her former employers has placed her in mortal danger. Their uneasy partnership is at the heart of the story, driven by mutual necessity rather than trust, and the tension between their contrasting moral perspectives gives the dialogue much of its weight. Rather than rushing events, the game allows conversations and character interactions to unfold deliberately, emphasizing psychological depth and ethical ambiguity. Gameplay adheres closely to classic point-and-click conventions, prioritizing exploration, dialogue, and puzzle-solving over mechanical complexity. Players move through meticulously crafted environments, examining objects, collecting items, and piecing together clues to advance the story. The interface is intentionally accessible, with clearly defined interactive elements that reduce frustration without trivializing the experience. Puzzles are generally logical and context-driven, requiring attention to narrative details rather than obscure leaps in reasoning. This design choice keeps the pacing steady and ensures that problem-solving feels like a natural extension of the story rather than an obstacle interrupting it. One of the game’s strengths lies in how its puzzles reinforce the themes of investigation and secrecy. Many challenges involve gathering information, manipulating documents, or exploiting subtle environmental details, reinforcing the sense that players are uncovering truths hidden in plain sight. While none of the puzzles are particularly demanding for seasoned adventure fans, they are thoughtfully integrated and rarely feel like filler. The game avoids excessive trial-and-error, instead rewarding careful observation and engagement with the dialogue and world-building. Visually, Act II continues the series’ distinctive graphic novel-inspired aesthetic. Backgrounds are richly detailed and grounded in realistic depictions of Rome and its shadowed interiors, from narrow streets to imposing institutional spaces. Character designs are stylized yet expressive, conveying emotion through posture and facial expression rather than elaborate animation. Between gameplay segments, the story is punctuated by animated comic-style cutscenes that lend cinematic flair and help emphasize dramatic moments. While movement animations can feel stiff and dated, the overall presentation effectively supports the game’s somber, conspiratorial mood. The audio design complements the visuals with a restrained but effective soundtrack that underscores tension and introspection. Music is used sparingly, allowing silence and ambient sound to heighten suspense during investigative moments. Voice acting adds personality to the cast, particularly in key conversations where emotional subtext plays a central role. Performances vary in impact, but overall they contribute positively to immersion and help ground the narrative in a sense of realism despite its dramatic subject matter. As an episodic installment, Act II: Wrath does face certain limitations. Its story arc is intentionally incomplete, prioritizing character development and setup over resolution, which may leave some players unsatisfied if experienced in isolation. The pacing can occasionally feel slow, especially during dialogue-heavy stretches, and the game assumes familiarity with events from the first act, making it less accessible to newcomers. These elements are inherent to its serialized structure, but they are worth noting for players expecting a self-contained adventure. Taken as a whole, Shadows on the Vatican – Act II: Wrath is a confident continuation of a story-driven adventure series that values atmosphere, character, and thematic depth over mechanical innovation. It succeeds in expanding its narrative scope and emotional stakes while maintaining the thoughtful puzzle design and visual identity established earlier. While its deliberate pacing and episodic nature may not appeal to all players, fans of classic point-and-click adventures and mature, conspiracy-laden storytelling will find it a compelling chapter that reinforces the series’ ambitions and leaves a strong impression as part of the larger saga. Rating: 7/10
Naprawdę wciągająca gra, polecam!

Despite suffering from many of the same flaws as Act I, Act II is a step in the right direction and does a number of things better than the first game. The animations are as clunky as before, and some of the puzzles are completely lacking in terms of any logic, but I felt that overall, the game felt better paced and with more of an actual structure - also thanks to the better storytelling. Wrath also fleshes out the character of Silvia, and the bits with her were definitely enjoyable. It was nice to also have some real-time puzzling in the very beginning, which also contributed to the overall atmosphere. Beyond the usual object combinations, there were also some nice puzzles here and there: such as the phone call analysis and map plotting, as well as the final puzzle with the roman numerals. Not great, but definitely much better than the majority of puzzles in Act I. Perhaps what improved my experience this time around was my decision to play with Italian voice acting in order to bypass the atrocious voice acting in English. This was a wise choice, as the Italian actors do a much better job. On the whole, I still wouldn't recommend this game to anyone except fans of the genre. However, with Act III seemingly not being very far off, I am reasonably excited and hopeful that this can turn into the game that it deserves to be.
