I'd only recently begun trying out the "Life is Strange" franchise because played very few "choice-matter" games, aside from the "Until Dawn" and "Telltale" series. Finally became interested in this franchise after completing the game with all achievements. In my opinion, it's more than just a game but an intense emotional journey. This episodic narrative game redefines how games present teenage stories, life choices, and their consequences, with countless lessons to be learned along the way. Unlike other narrative choice games (such as those by Telltale) that often involve regretting immediate decisions, Life is Strange allows players to rewind time to see the short-term consequences of other choices. However, the game's genius is that it remains unnerving because the long-term consequences remain mysterious. One of the best aspects of this game is its audio. The music by Syd Matters, Jose Gonzalez, Mogwai, and alt-J creates a powerful atmosphere and ambiance. In the future, if have a time, I will also try other LIS series such as LIS2, True Colors, Double Exposure, Reunion 💯

When you water your plant and it says "This action will have consequenses", you know sh** just got real.
Dare I say its the best story game i ever played. The story is incredible, I got attached to the characters while playing and dropped a tear more than once. Truly a masterpiece. ʚଓ

game story bikin gamon yee setan! kudu wajib main game ini lagi siee sumpah, lophh sekebon ama ini gamee arrgghhhh🔥🔥🔥✨✨✨
This story must go hard if you're 14. I just don't see the hype about this game or why people adore it so much. Story starts like your average highschool drama and then at the end
you have to save arcadia bay from the hurricane i somehow caused by traveling in the past too much (?)
characters do not get enough time or enough writing to make you actually feel anything for them and with max's new time travelling powers you can go back in time to undo/change a choice you made (except for 2) which kills the sense of responsibility but just cool enough to make you see other outcomes without having to do another playthrough. The time travelling gimmick could have been much more but it always felt like it never really used its full potential.
none of the choices you make through the game matter at the very end since you get to choose between sacrificing your friend (everyone lives except for chloe) or sacrifice all of arcadia bay (everyone dies except for chloe and max) what the ♥♥♥♥?
there must have been some hypnosis or brain wash in the game that won "awards" and made grown ass people cry their eyes out and for this game to have 173k positive reviews, so much so that people fall into depression after completing it? These people would kill themselves if they played the first season of the walking dead. What a lame mosh-pit "shakabrah"
What a game, I cannot play this again for the first time ever again. The game really had some sci-fi stuff which gave me chills but the most shocking was the plot twists, change my mind. This game definitely has some potential. It all felt like a cinematic and the acting in this game was so great.
Life is Strange evokes a melancholic vibe, sort of worn wood acoustics bathed in autumn light with a very strong scent. Nonetheless, the story burrows deep and the soundtrack just made it settled into you. Definitely going back to snap some squirrel pictures.
Life is Strange is one of those games that just stays with you after you finish it. The story feels really personal and weirdly real at times. It’s not trying to be super flashy or action-heavy, it’s more about people, conversations, and small moments that end up feeling a lot bigger than they seem at first. The characters actually feel like real people with messy emotions, not just game characters saying lines. The rewind mechanic is honestly what makes everything click. At first I used it just to mess around, but then I started overthinking every little choice. Even dumb stuff. I’d rewind just to see how something felt “slightly different,” like I actually cared about the outcome more than I expected to. And I will never forget watering a plant and getting hit with: “This action will have consequences.” I just sat there like… it’s a plant. Why do I feel guilty now? That’s kind of the charm of the game though. It makes even small decisions feel important, like you’re constantly shaping things without fully realizing it. The music and atmosphere also do a lot of the heavy lifting in the best way. There are moments where nothing huge is happening, but it still feels meaningful just because of how everything is presented. By the end, it hit me really hard and I got more and more invested with each episode. It slowly built up until I was actually emotional and kind of stressed in a good way, like I really cared about how things would turn out. And when I finally finished it, I was just sitting there completely speechless. Just a really memorable experience overall. One of those games that quietly sticks in your head long after you’re done with it.
The game i knew since my childhood, helped me a lot. Glad to experience it again by myself since i recently got it <3
