Przypomina Alien Breed, nawet jest mod o tej nazwie do gry.

Esse é o original que deu origem ao Survivor, e joguei os dois praticamente seguidos pra comparar. Curiosamente prefiro esse aqui em vários aspectos, mesmo sendo mais antigo. A campanha tem mais personalidade que a sequência, com um arco de história decente pros padrões do gênero, e o sistema de upgrade de armas ao longo da campanha dá motivo pra continuar avançando. A iluminação dinâmica também era um diferencial técnico pra época. Assim como o Survivor, sofre de repetição depois de algumas horas e os controles podem incomodar dependendo do setup. A dificuldade também é irregular, com picos que frustram sem motivo claro. Se você só vai jogar um dos dois, esse aqui como ponto de partida faz mais sentido cronologicamente e narrativamente, mas nenhum dos dois é essencial fora da nostalgia.

A nothing burger game, don't bother. Story is extremely simplistic and nothing interesting happens except for maybe the end but it is very brief. Top down gameplay is basic to start and fun enough but as the game goes on the enemies just become more annoying and uninteresting to fight. Weapon balance is all over the place with some feeling useless and others bonkers OP. Levels are kinda interesting with some sprawling layouts but everything looks the same so I wouldn't say it's fun to explore. The first mission has this cool survival horror / investigation vibe but that pretty much goes away by the second mission and you are just mowing down enemy hordes from then on. Characters are boring and completely useless. You spend the whole game doing every task by yourself while the moron squad pretends to do something at various terminals. Rinse and repeat. Looks mediocre and runs fine. Idk what else there is to say because there isn't much to this game and your life will see no benefit playing it.

apparently its a good game...i think. ive got 106 hours on it and i dont remember ever playing this game. lol

Solid Top-Down-Shooter which i enjoyed more than Alien Breed. The combat, weapons and upgrades are good. The story is decent until the anti-climatic finale. No mid-level saving. With no native V-Sync it makes your PC run hot. It requires minimal tinkering with the setup launcher, but there are mods available on moddb. I recommend "Beast" or "2kremaster". Note you can only have one mod active, and the save files are separate.
