Shadow Warrior

Divertido, pero se aprovecha de la nostalgia. Tiene el punto canalla, muy de su época. Y algunas tonterías, como los sprites originales de la chica en el baño. Prescindible, para aquel jugador que no ha jugado al original, o no ha vivido los 90'.

I'm really enjoying my time with this game in 2026. Takes me right back. Old school level design. The game invites you to unlock its secrets. Game feels very snappy and satisfying to play. And even though it's about 13 years old now, still looks great, thanks to the beautiful art style and lighting.

Genuinely fun shootem up slasher. Jokes definitely remind me of the aughts, but not in a bad way. The game is a 14 year old's idea of the most badass story line he could think of; which is if you could mash doom and the rush hour movies together and have a protagonist that suspiciously resembles Ice T. And its actually executed pretty well. Shakespeare it is not, but it is a good few hours of indulgent chaotic violence. Definitely entertaining if you can catch it on sale.

Dans mes lointains souvenirs, j'avais bien aimé le Shadow Warrior fait avec le moteur de Duke Nukem 3D. Malheureusement, ce remake n'est pas à la hauteur. Il est plutôt ce qu'est Duke Nukem Forever à Duke Nukem 3D, que ce qu'est "Doom 2016" à Doom. Graphiquement, ça a vieilli, c'est moche (joué en 2026). C'est codé avec les pieds, mon PC de 2022 se transforme en turbine d'avion pour afficher quelque chose d'aussi quelconque. Le level design est quelconque aussi. C'est ultra répétitif. On passe son temps à massacrer les mêmes monstres, sans but. Ca ressemble à du Serious Sam (en moins drôle). Au final, on s'ennuie.
