This is a surprisingly delightful game! I'm not much for FPS but got this as part of a co-op bundle and encouraged my friend to do the same. It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it and if you can squad up with friends it's a really good time. The game is surprisingly smooth and stable no issues or glitches no lag. I love that you can just play with your friends and bots vs. online pvp with annoying people, it lowers the barrier to entry for people like myself who just want to have a chill time and likewise friends. The guns are all named after plants. Love the Haymaker! The game has about 20 maps to choose from (night/day variants) and a healthy set of options for gameplay including team deathmatch, free for all - juggernaut and a fun version of capture the flag involving pig riding. It's good for fun with friends and casual gameplay but it will surprise with you the COD and other FPS type mechanics (sneak up and hit with a shovel for the assassination) and nice casual elements of leveling up and gaining customization and cosmetics. Everything in the game is included, there is a optional cosmetic DLC to support the devs. The most unique aspect is how you gain ammo by planting seeds from your bullets to harvest in the future. 10/10 will be will playing this tomorrow while I'm supposed to be at work. Shotgun farmer has great controller support - confirmed on the PS5 dualsense and vadar 4, no issues.

NICE GAME but not enough online players

Game is fun. A cool refresh on this type of game. Cartoonish but great, interesting interactions. A big downside to mention is the lack of players....... I wish I had gotten into this when it first came out. I'm sure that back then, lobbies were full and not empty or with one player in match and maybe afk at times. Other than that, if you are okay playing solo, Horde mode which is playing against a bunch of zombies (Think COD zombies but not exactly), or CPU matches, or teaming up with people you know and can get a lobby going, then it will be great!

This game is great. It has grown so much in the past years and is super fun to play. It probaly isn't for competative play as there is a kinda low skill ceiling. But other than that, great fun. It has a cattle pass(get it, like battle pass?...) which you can unlock stuff. And no in game purchases! The cattle pass is free
