A problem I ran in to is that my units are unable to move, the instructions say click and drag but when I do that nothing happens.

It's pretty good, but get it on sale, as it's a little slight compared to some of the other SGS games. The full campaign doesn't take very long and there aren't a ton of interesting decisions for either side. As the US you're basically marking time until Scott shows up and you can invade Vera Cruz and capture Mexico City. As Mexico pretty much nothing matters but protecting Mexico City until the political counter ticks up. The AI does a decent job as Mexico but as the US it will happily march its forces into the desert and let you cut them off and starve them. It's a fun look at the history but I would have liked to see some alternate history options that maybe give Mexico more of a fighting chance.
Interesting , largely unknown campaigns...the game is multi-dimentional, the counter graphics are sharp and enhance the boardgame feel. Pleasant surprise!
Molto ben fatto!
updated now game works.
After repeatedly having to quit the game on "turn 12 of 10"or other equally ludicrous turn number because the game won't end, I finally quit playing the game, especially after one game in which I won every battle and received no victory points whereas the Mexicans won by 19. That's four SGS titles now that won't end when they're supposed to, or will make you lose regardless of what you do, and there's no explanation for it. I can't bring myself to pay for another game that fails to do what it claims to.
Great game! I like how the main focus is on the battles and yet the cards and other aspects of the game add the historical background and events of that time period. The game has been well supported and updated too.
