For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Before/while Croteam was developing Serious Sam 3, they were working on both a new Doom and a modern military shooter, and once you have those two pieces, a lot of the design decisions begin to make sense, mind you, just because I know the reason why something is bad doesn't change the fact that it is. Let's start off with the thing that frustrated me the most, the guns. Reloading and aiming down sights have been introduced in this game, and while the latter is barely a factor, the former means that both the single-barreled shotgun, the rifle, and the devastator are more of a hindrance when enemies are charging at you, which is especially annoying because you get the most ammunition for the shotgun and rifle, well maybe you get more for the rocket launcher, however considering that most of the enemies weave so much that you practically need twice as much ammo for each one, I defintly felt like I got less. The laser and sniper are only available through secrets, and you get so little ammo for them that they are basically unusable for most of the game. At least the mini gun is still good, even though they gave it its own ammo type. Using these tools, you will have to take on some of the most annoying enemies I have ever had the misfortune of fighting. None of the new enemies introduced in this game are unique or fun to fight, leading to a roster where one-third of them are either hitscanners, Doom reskins, or only damaged by explosives, and combining all of that leads to me groaning in frustration whenever the game decides to spawn 10-30 new enemies for the fourth time in one encounter. I will fight all of these Bastards in either gray bombed-out cities or dusty abandoned ruins, both of which are massive and cluttered to the point where the AI starts struggling with the whole intelligence part. Oh, and most of the secrets are a pain to find and barely rewarding. This was the first Serious Sam game I ever played, back in the day, with a friend on his Xbox in split-screen. This mess is what got me into this franchise! I originally thought that would give the game some leeway when it came time for me to form my full opinion on it. Turns out, it has only made me more frustrated with it.
