This game lacks color that the classic games had. It's hard to see enemies clearly, their AI is really weird and janky, and a lot of the mobs are just annoying as ♥♥♥♥ to fight, more annoying than usual. This game is pretty skippable unless you're a diehard Serious Sam fan and want to go for completion of the series. Serious Sam 4 is WAY better. I appreciate what Croteam was going for on this game based on what other games were on the market at the time it was originally released, but it lacks the full charm that the classic games had, which is why Serious Sam 4 is a much better game in comparison. The game runs smooth, only had crashes a couple times. It has the same combat feel as the original games, and the melee takedowns are cool, but it kinda just feels like a weird mashed up modernized remake of TFE, but also just fails at it at the same time. Is this game a prequel? Who the hell are all the characters? Why does the last level take like 3 hours on normal? Why was the laser only ever a secret weapon? Or the sniper rifle? Why does it play better in third person view? Why are some enemies immune to non-explosive weapons? I don't want to use C4. Ever. Where are the backpacks? Where are the powerups? Why can't I turn off full screen hit effects that trigger on taking 2 damage from a shotgun soldier across the map that has 100% accuracy for some reason? Why does the audio sound like monsters are right behind me when they're across the map? Why is the rocket launcher useless when I need it most? Why are the shotguns useless in later levels? Why don't the minigun and assault rifle share ammo? Reloading is annoying as hell, but I don't want to waste my minigun ammo on soldiers. Why is my splash damage so huge? Why are there shai-hulud gatekeeping secrets? Why can you get ammo on levels that don't have the guns available to use the ammo? The final boss fight is dumb and annoying, I have all these weapons that are basically useless for the fight. Why do I move slower indoors? Why are there even creepy indoor segments? There's a weird bug on one of the levels where the condition to win is to defeat all the enemies in the last area, but if you had ran through and skipped enemies earlier on for either speedrun purposes, or for the achievement to beat the level in half the required normal time, then it bugs out and won't finish the level because there are enemies from earlier that you can no longer access to kill.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

(I played in Fusion, but reviewing it here, to adress specifically BFE. 56 hours played) What can I say? I can't name a FPS game better than BFE. BFE is the Pound-for-Pound GOAT of the genre and the Opus Magnum of Croteam. People often throw a shadow on it, but try to name a single masterpiece that was acknowledged rightfully in its modernity. The pacing, the combat, the music, the athmosphere, the technology, the plot and Sam himself as a character ,firstly and finally in the franchise, all combined into 1 perfect composition. When you start the game your eyes and vision are blessed with the beauty of urban Cairo, and you almost start to feel a tender burning touch of egyptian sun on muscles that soon will grow a lot from clicking the left mouse button. When you get a hammer for beating Gnaars one-by-one you understand from whom Space Marine 2 and Devil May Cry 5 took notes at making melee combat. When you get a Deagle you feel like a next link of gangster's evolution. When you get a shotgun, begins the part where you start dodging missles in real life in front of the screen. When you first unleash your trusty M4, energetic drums by Demjan let you know that the journey has started for real from there and will only heat up. When you get your favourite double barrel shotgun, the DNA of your ancestor from XIX century lets you know that you made a right choice. When you place c4 before the fight and lure a horde of enemies into it, you feel like you don't need Harvard, but Harvard needs you. When the first rocket clangs at launch to launch a huge cloud of dust you immideatly fall in love with this strange orange piece of metal. When your eye catches something unfamiliar, the Devastator makes the first impression like no one else. When fiery rock by maestro Damjan starst blasting into your ear into addition to egyptian drums, your entire body tunes up. When soul-scratching guitar kicks in, your entire being immideatly fills with POWER and your system starts producing testosterone x1000. When you pick up a Minigun to maul 300 hundred kleers in a row, Richard Gatling himself looks down on you from heaven with tears of pride and happiness. When you pick up a cannon, you understand why FPS as a genre couldn't evolve any further from there. When you finish the game, you understand why computer was invented in the first place. The main OST of the game states everything directly as it is: "And as we fall, The spirit carries on, That a hero'll, Come and save us all". That is the game's final word to gamers, genre and industry itself. For every developer and fan of BFE I wish at least one harpy

Un juego propio de su tiempo y con una edad que se nota, pero muy disfrutable de todas formas.
