About
Indulge in an mysterious adventure filled with risk, romance, comedy, and death. Put your rhythm skills to the test as you try to win over the hearts of six serial killers—if you can survive them.
After waking in an unfamiliar house, you find yourself stuck with a group of strangers, all as confused as you are. Together you try to reveal the mysteries of the house and what brought you all there.
The narrative of Serial Lover is presented in a visual novel format with frequent player choices for additional dialogue. As you progress through phases of the game, you can choose a killer to pursue, but are challenged with a rhythm game you must complete to seduce them!
6 killers to seduce, each with their own endings and backstories!
23 original rhythm tracks to master - from beautiful ballads to neck-breaking bangers!
19 CG character artworks to reveal!
4 semi-branching chapters of comedic, dramatic, and downright deplorable narrative experiences!
Partial voice acting!
Arcade mode and leaderboards for rhythm game sweats!
Serial Lover features a roster of 6 romanceable characters, each one more peculiar than the last.
Teddy Denver - Socially awkward public embarrassment. Confidently wrong. Doesn't really care about anything.
Jenny Burnham - Burning pit of hatred and murder. Ready to explode at the drop of a hat. Previously a nurse.
Edwina Kennedy - Wholesome optimist and hands-on country girl. No flaws whatsoever. Protect at all costs.
Andria Cermak - Seductive siren with a craving for meat. You can trust her with your life. Definitely.
Ben Conway - Reliable support and trusted companion. A partner-in-crime until the end.
Harmony Sharpe - An intellectual amongst the commoners. Flawless logic. Abhorrent god complex.

What I liked: - Intriguing story and characters - Romance was enjoyable and didn't feel rushed or forced (even if it was quick) - Rhythm game sections were fun and the difficulty customization was nice What I disliked: - Too short (I get that development takes time, but after 5 years I was really expecting more content) - Pricey considering the short length (if the game costed less or was longer this wouldn't be an issue) Overall would recommend, but if you're looking to save money then think carefully before buying.
Saw some unpaid promo for this game on tiktok or sum last month and decided to buy since it’s sold at a pretty low price point. As a fan of psych horror dating sims and rhythm games, I failed to notice this game lacks the psych horror tag. Not a problem at all. The rhythm game aspect was fairly challenging, I don’t see myself full clearing this game anytime soon. One of the strongest points this game has to offer, in my opinion, is its UI and accessibility features. Navigating this game felt incredibly smooth. I enjoyed the soundtrack a lot, and the voice acting felt reminiscent of Class of 09, which I found pleasant. Don’t come into ts expecting some crazy story or nun, the synopsis is quite literally what you’re getting into, and it was pretty entertaining. Worth a purchase and play fr. Jenny best girl 🦅
Great game. It's a mix between a rythm game and a visual novel. Fun story and likeable characters. The rythm part of the game is engaging (with an arcade mode to replay any and all tracks) and some gimmicky tiles here and there to spice things up. I discovered the game on YouTube with Dekaff.
SERIAL LOVER GIVE ME SERIAL LOVE SPREE WITH MORE HARMONY CONTENT AND MY LIFE WILL BE OURS
I've been supporting the development of this game ever since the demo came out on itch.io in 2021. In was eager and excited when I found out it was coming out this year! After almost 5 years of waiting, I finally saw the game uploaded and I can say it's worth it. For those who are curious about the game play, the offset can be a little strict due to the hit bars being so thin, plus 5 notes can be kind of difficult, but other than that I was able to beat the game in medium mode, not impressive but it helped me through. Overall, I give a good review on this game! Good work! Worth the wait!
friend bought it as a joke but turned out to have an intresting story. excited to see how it ends
i need part two.
