Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 18 → 2/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Great game , very fun and has a special identity and interesting story. Well optimized as well To be honest up to this point writing this review I completely forgot this was an early access title. Because it feels like a full release . Very worth buying.

Very well-polished for an Early-Access game, and a very solid and tight foundation for future updates. Combat is meaty with a good amount of particle effects and interactable bits in the levels (you ♥♥♥♥ these levels up with your gunfights), the weapons feel very punchy (Shotgun my beloved) and the enemies feel reactive and fun to fight. The difficulty will definitely kick your ass but it's a good kind of way, the kind of way that forces you to lean into every tool in your toolbox as well as the environment around you. AND the soundtrack goes hard too If you like FPSs and want an engaging, challenging, delicious slice of pie that the chef is currently cooking more of in the back, 100% recommend it. Only downsides I would say is that there can be a bit too much downtime in-between combat. Some will like it, others don't. And the navigation, while good and contextual, can have you wandering around for a bit. And look at that, I didn't compare it to FEAR once in my review
Selaco was definitely a blast to play it took me roughly 9hrs to get through the game. I did occasionally get lost looking for cards or get turned around in some of the earlier stages where the environments were much more open. But I had fun from start to finish and even when I was lost or confused It never took away from the overall enjoyment of the game. The AI in the game is quite intense and really quite intelligent made me think of the good ole days of F.E.A.R. back when Monolith Studios outdid themselves with incredibly intelligent Ai which were fun to fight. That's the same thing here the enemies are fun to fight they actually will flank, will sit back etc. I still say F.E.A.R. has better AI because they'll flashbang you, anticipate your movements and flush you out or wait for you to come to them while the AI here is quite aggressive and impatient. The soundtrack is on point very 90's and nostalgic which I absolutely loved I think my favorite score was inside the safe rooms it was very relaxing and soothing. **Spoiler** I do think the horror element integration was quite short. It reminded me of Halo Combat Evolved back in the day where it simply came out of nowhere. I was expecting more of it after the events unfolded and it wasn't there..., now maybe you're building up to it with chapter 2 but I felt like that could have gone further.
My opinion about this game changes with the weather. It's a good shooter. I would like more story told through audio, video and/or in game animations though. But it's a good shooter nonetheless. The levels are huge and complex. Or I should rather say wide. Any time you enter a room, you can be pretty sure it extends not only forwards, but also to the left and to the right. So I find myself zigzagging through every level, to make sure I find everything. I like complexity, but there's a difference between complex levels and wide levels. The same pattern repeats to at least level 5 (where I am currently, writing this). It gets old after a while. It's easy to get stuck. Not like a bug (although that has happened to me once), but more "I don't know where to go or what to do". It was easier for me to find the secrets than the main objective at the second level (water treatment facility), for instance. That's a negative. The difficulty is on the harder side. The enemies get tougher as you progress, but you don't get significantly more powerful. Normal difficulty in Selaco feels like Nightmare in Doom. Many may enjoy it, but for me it only feels annoying to die repeatedly because you get swarmed and surrounded by 10-20 enemies, where each enemy takes at least a full mag to kill. To retreat and force the enemies to funnel through a small opening seems like one inevitable tactic you need to use. Another is to run far far away and force them to spread out over the map, so you can deal with them in smaller groups. So the conclusion is that it's a mixed bag. But the good outweighs the bad, I suppose. But I'm not convinced.
Great fun. Exploration is great, the aesthetic is tight. Controls are wonderful. Finding the secrets is a fun activity. Love the soundtrack. I'm enjoying my time with this game.
