Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 18 → 2.25/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

What makes a shooter good? Tons of guns, tons of ammo, tons of enemies, and full control in your hands. What makes a shooter dynamic? Tons of action on the map, different enemy types with unique tricks, and surprises up the sleeves of both enemies and the player. What makes a shooter spectacular? Blood, explosions, objects flying into pieces, and of course - a shotgun in the player’s hands. That’s Selaco: a good, dynamic, and spectacular shooter. The developers clearly knew their audience and gave the player: A shotgun that lets you shred your enemies, a revolver that blows heads clean off, a nailgun that literally pins enemies to walls, and six more weapons of destruction. It’s all flashy, satisfying, and just a blast to play. The only thing I can really criticize is the boredom between the “arenas.” The devs clearly put in effort to fill the locations with tons of detail, colorful decorations, thematic environments, everything feels lively. But for crying out loud, how many, hooooow many, secrets can you cram into a single level? Very early on I realized that if you try to find all of them on your own, you’re looking at hours of pixel-hunting across every corner of the map. And these aren’t just cosmetic collectibles, sometimes they’re actual weapon upgrades, which in my opinion is just unforgivable. To be fair, the devs did add the option to revisit completed areas, which helps. But the levels often feel like labyrinths, and I had at least three cases where I was wandering for (!!!) 15 minutes trying to figure out "where the hell do I go next…" That caused a lot of frustration. Even the green markers that are supposed to guide you sometimes just confused me further. Still, despite those flaws, I absolutely recommend this game.
If you love boomer-shooters, then this is a MUST play.
The attention to detail is INSANE. Played 10 hours and then they drop the "oh that was the prologue" title. GATDAMN these devs are doing an amazing job.
Good game.
I heavily reccomend Selaco, usually fps games arent too much my thing but I've had a lot of fun with this one so far! I'm currently replaying it through the special campaign randomizer and it's quite a blast, it's amazing that this runs on gzdoom my only complaint is that navigation can be confusing occasionally, i like that the green lights guide you a bit on where to go but it's easy to get lost and not be sure where to go after reaching an objective sometimes, I've only had to look up what I was supposed to do or where to go once, but still, it took a bit I heavily reccomend Selaco, usually fps games arent too much my thing but I've had a lot of fun with this one so far! Amazing game so far. You can tell that the developers have lovingly created this game from past experience with other great classics. Little bit of Half Life, FEAR, DOOM, among others mixed in along with tons of interactivity. The art style is great as well. Definitely an experience to be had if you enjoy older style shooters but also want something a little fresh. Refer to your map often! This game does require navigation and backtracking at times. There are a lot of secrets to be found as well, you will be rewarded for messing with everything you see! I want to see this game finished, so help the developers out and pickup a copy! :)
This is the most immersed I have been in a game in a very long time. Incredible.
This is a fantastic take on old school boomer shooters. Big connecting levels of what is a pretty big world, your usual grab key to progress. tons of secrets to find. nice little selection of enemies which receive buffs as the game goes on. great selection of weapons. each with a nice pool of mods to acquire. great mesh of old school graphics with a modern kick. Levels can seem confusing at first but once you start exploring it comes together real well and figuring out your next step is easy. there are visual hints if you get lost but they show you this in game so i wont get into it here. overall this is a great game with ALOT of content for a early access release. tons of replay value on its own. and the addition of mods increases that further. spend the 25 folks. worth every penny.
