Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.
Things I Like:
+++ Doom meets Deus Ex: Fight fast and furiously through long sci-fi levels filled to the brim with secrets, puzzles and enemies waiting to ambush you. Combat has a dash, slide and a multitude of weapons you can get meaningful upgrades for. +++ Levels are detailed, filled with secrets to find and objects you can interact with and feel long as they're chained together with short loading screens akin to Deus Ex 1's persistent level system. If you're a fan of finding the Yellow Key Card to open the Yellow Door, there's a lot of that here. +++ Enemy AI can act smart, challenging and keeps you on your toes as they push, flank and hold spaces. There's a mechanic in the game where the longer you progress in a level, the more special abilities regular troops have. You can hear them communicate to each other akin to F.E.A.R. 1, acknowledging they see your flashlight or that they're the last one standing against you. Competent enemies make for interesting combat! ++ Art style is very satisfying to look at. Very nice colours. Hell, even the graffiti is pretty. The main character looks cool and the enemies remind me of the bad guys from G.I. Joe! My only real gripes are that the pixelation makes some small details look messy and that characters are 2D when everything else is 3D. ++ On loading time, you can get from Desktop to your save game in less than a minute with how fast it loads and an in-game option to disable game company logo videos is always a plus! ++ Great OST but I wish there was better use of the quieter tracks. They could use them as looping ambient tracks to fill in the awkward silences between the scripted triggers so exploration isn't just dead silent. ++ Very satisfying sound design. I always appreciate the options to change how frequent the character speaks even if I like the voice acting. The sound items make when you interact with them are so satisfying. That said, gun sounds could be better. ++ Multiple ways to play the main campaign with modifiers, randomizer, multiple difficulty levels, Iron Man mode etc. as well as a Wave Survival Mode. + Fast travel between safe rooms, allowing you to come back to explored areas, unlock some doors and find the secrets you might've missed + Easter Eggs galore! (Fallout 3: Tunnel Snakes) (Doom: Painsaw) etc. + A couple mini-games and fun achievements
Things I Dislike:
--- Early Access aka 'A promise with a price tag': This game came out May 2024. Currently only 1 Chapter out of 3 Chapters the game has planned. Admittedly the Chapter we have is long and packed full of content. I can only hope the rest stay to this quality and length otherwise I'll be a bit disappointed. This game has a lot of old school elements, but do you know what would be really old school? Developing a game, then releasing it when it's done. -- Everything is 3D except for characters. They're 2D and I just dont like how 2D objects in a 3D world looks. - In this futuristic world of sci-fi doors, robots and high power weaponry, your flashlight battery lasts like 30 secs until it turns off to recharge again. Very annoying and I really dont see the point. Other players must agree as one of the top Steam mods for this game is for an infinite flashlight. - Teeny detail I noticed: your player model doesn't change depending on what weapon you're holding so when you look in a mirror with just your fists out or a pistol, you're always holding an assault rifle.

Can't get past the first chapter, not because the game is hard exactly but because there's no variety within the levels. Everything is just dark gray walls and random office furniture, making it impossible to navigate. Might help a little if they'd add a compass indicator? Dunno, but until it's possible to walk around and say "oh, THIS is/is not a way I've been down before" it's really not playable.

One of my favorites, and it's not even finished yet. It's clearly a labor of love and I am very much looking forward to Chapter 2.
I wasn't really sold at first, because I like my shooters more oldschool in the sense of having enclosed levels, that take 15-20 minutes to finish like in AMID EVIL, having ridiculous movement like in TURBO OVERKILL, and in general putting gameplay and gunplay above everything else! That's why I think Half Life 1+2 are very overrated, because, let's be honest for a sec: the gunplay and movement in both those games blows... HARD! Selaco fixes that and then some! The guns feel amazing and have a great upgrade system, the movement just feels right and precise, the pacing ist great (if your testosterone levels alllow u to have a sense of direction), tons of secrets to discover, incredible details regarding the worldbuilding and the literal building of the world, challenging enemies that are a joy to fight, and a staggering amount of customization to alter ur experience: -Don't want empty levels, when u backtrack to look for secrets? Turn on random encounters and choose their frequency -Want a more arcade like experience plus RPG elements? Turn on the item randomizer, weapon tiers and so on and on and on... I think I finished this game a dozen times already and not in the same way twice.... Did I mention this is only the first episode?! Second one is on its way, plus a challenge endless wave mode or something... Listen... In the end only two things are undisputable: I will play more than 300 hours of this single player FPS and MJ is the GOAT... get this game
This is a good Doom clone, although the fights tend to be messy. Most of the time you're ambushed from several sides and the enemies use the maps against you. Had to stop halfway the first episode because the level design is labyrinthine. Basically the whole episode is one open world several kilometers wide but it's all samey hallways and not enough landmarks or signs. The devs tried to patch this but after two years it's still a confusing maze with constant backtracking.
Fear meets Doom meets Half Life. Selaco is a spectacle considered it's made in the GZ Doom engine and looks this good. Gameplay is smooth and satisfying. Weapons are cool and punchy. The levels can be confusing, but the map is helpful and they mark some things on there that you need to collect. Overall a really good time. Can't wait for episode 2!
Extremely regretful 25 dollar purchase. Buy this game game only if you have a fetish for getting lost in hallways spamming the Q key. For everyone else, avoid.
