Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 18 → 2.25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Selaco a legjobb boomer shooter játék!! Az atmoszféra magával ragadó, a lövöldözés feszes és izgalmas, az AI okos és kihívást nyújt, a történet pedig teljesen rendben van. Már most kötelező darab a műfaj rajongóinak! Imádom!! :)
The vibes are immaculate. I love the audio and level design, there's a few complaints the level progression can be obscure and I get it, but I was never trapped in a single area for more than 5 minutes. I think this *could* be solved by having a "clue" that occurs if you're near an objective. Highlight important items, interactible points, etc. My *only* real complaints are the enemy A.I isn't what I envisioned from the hype - I've only seen an enemy actually flank once, the rest of the time it's triggered by opening a door, using a lever, etc. Secondarily, difficulty [strike]just chunks up the health to where enemies just eat ammo and shred you within a few seconds of exposure.[/strike] Enemy health seems the same on normal, so ammo scarcity is still a factor there - you just die slower. I played up until city streets on normal + 1 (commando?) but just found it too annoying that enemies swarm you like flies and at that point they've added flying suicide bomber enemies that can chain react - not great when they get into indoor areas. Edit: For the AI, I guess I expected to see more tactics as a result of the difficulty. I.E They throw smokes, but as far as I can tell this just breaks the LOS and they stop shooting/aggressing until they walk around it. Why don't they throw it and then have "suppressive fire" where 1-2 units fire blindly whilst others then egress around the smoke. Too often it feels like the AI just walks towards you regardless of "tactical" decision making.

Gzdoom engine meets F.E.A.R. meets expansive sci fi world with lots of lore built in, great exploration, and great shooting. This game is incredible in it's vision and I'm happy to see it continue to be developed. Great inspirations btw (more 3d than YOUR LIFE, lol) and lots of cool references and stylistic choices all around. I did leave a past review which was more critical, and the game has its highs in progress and sometimes needs a little bit of work but for an early access game this is amazing.
Honestly ended up liking this a lot more than I thought I would. At first I was worried it was going to feel repetitive or frustrating, but the more I played, the more I realised how much depth there actually is here. The moment-to-moment gameplay is really satisfying with a surprising amount of interactivity. You can tell it borrows from a bunch of classic shooters and modern boomer shooters, but at the same time it just feels like its own thing. The atmosphere is incredible: gritty, immersive, and packed with style. The level design did trip me up a few times, but that’s more on me not clicking with exploration-heavy shooters than on the game itself. For the most part the levels are well put together and straightforward once you’re in the flow. Enemy variety is solid, and the AI even has little bits of chatter that add to the immersion. Performance was mostly fine, though I did notice FPS drops here and there, especially when I cranked the graphics settings. Still, for an Early Access game, it’s way more polished than I expected. I played through the full Chapter 1 in about 6–7 hours, which is a hefty amount of content for the price. Honestly, it already feels like a full release rather than just a “prologue.” That said, the ending was a little anticlimactic and the pacing can drag at times, but those are small complaints. What’s here is fun, stylish, and satisfying. Selaco nails the atmosphere, has strong combat, and kept me hooked right through to the end. If you’re into boomer shooters or just want a cool, atmospheric FPS, this is definitely worth picking up now. I’m really excited to see where Chapter 2 takes things.
If you like boom shooters you might like this. There's lots of settings to play with and the ability to use mods (since it's based on GZDoom). The biggest issues are confusing level layouts, and lack of visiblity in fights due to lots of blood and smoke. You can customize this luckily, but yeah. The selaco experience is fun, if you take some time to tinker with settings.
If you played Ion Fury and loved all the open detailed levels, atmosphere, combat, secret-hunting - then you'll love this game. To me this is the best boomer shooter I've played
Fantastic level design, flow of combat and gun-play. One of the best FPS in years. Looking forward to 1.0.
I guess I'll come back when the 'invert look' setting actually inverts look.
Freaking incredible game! Most fun I've had since OG DooM! Seriously! This game is so much fun and the immersion is incredible! Just play it! You will not have a single regret! Can't wait for the next 2 Chapters! I might have to play through a 3rd time, it's THAT much fun!
