Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Probably one of the best fps i played, period
It's easy to get bogged down talking about how Selaco is unbelievably impressive for being a highly detailed and feature-rich tactical shooter built entirely on the classic DOOM engine, what an insane labor of love and utilization of technology beyond its reasonable limits it is, but frankly that's all besides the point, and the point is: the game kicks ass. The art design is fantastic, the sprites all look great, the weapons all feel phenomenal and the way they tear up the environment and enemies alike with tons of particle effects and blood splatter only adds to the satisfaction of using them, the level design is largely pretty intuitive and full of little side paths and secrets for dedicated explorers, and overall it's just a really fun experience that knows how to throw a lot of basic enemies at you in ways that continually keep you on your toes and without ever getting dull. Even being just the first half to a third of what I'm told will eventually be a full game, it feels like a complete experience right up until the end. If there is a flaw worth pointing out, it's that some of the weapons and a lot of the more tactical elements of gameplay feel a bit invalidated on higher difficulties; I played on the Captain setting, where enemies have a bit more health and do more damage, and while it never felt unfairly hard, I learned pretty quickly that the best strategy was being fairly aggressive with single-hit kill weapons like the magnum and shotgun, and the more damage-over-time weapons kind of fell by the wayside, as did any notion of trying to be cute by flanking enemies or doing cryo-grenade combos or whatever. That said, that's barely a complaint, and overall I had a grand old time playing Selaco. Check it out if you like shooters pretty much at all. It also has a Cookie Clicker-alike in it that I spent way too much time in. Whether that's a pro or a con, I leave as an exercise for the reader.
A perfect gift for any of your friends on HRT this festive
an enjoyable game, even in its early access state is has plenty of content.
Really awesome shooter, a definite must-buy if you're into oldschool fps games, even though it has a lot more modern/2010 era feel to it than pure doom. leveldesign is really great but a bit confusing at times if you want to backtrack, then the automap comes in handy!
Selaco is an amazing, super-fun FPS with a story that is REALLY captivating. One of the best part is that the game doesn't FORCE you to play all fast and up close to your enemy. You can choose to play tactically if you want. The game won't punish you for that. And it is VERY well made for a game made entirely in GZDoom. The sheer amount of detail in the environment is just awesome. Another thing is that the AI doesn't feel braindead. They actually feel like a properly trained opposing force! I also LOVE the art-direction. Sci-fi is alreayd good by its self. But the way Selaco handles it is just really awesome. Im surprised how well it runs even on my potato PC (They are a strong potato!). You just need to tweak some things around and you can average 40-50 FPS. Overall, Selaco is really well designed and I look forward to Chapter 2!
This game is amazing! Easily one of the Top 10 Shooters I've ever played! The environment, the sounds, the lighting, the weapons, the exploration. Everything in this game is top notch. Don't let the "Early Access" logo fool you, this is one of the most feature rich, polished, and enjoyable games I've seen in a long time. Don't even bother waiting for a sale, its that incredible.
Very much enjoyed the game. Reminded me of the old school shooters. Some heads up directional input would be great. I figure the map is a bit of a maze, but that is a feature.
