Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
Early Access Review. Never bought a game on early access before this one. Got it on sale, and actually regret not having paid full price. Recommend 100%, its imperfections are easily forgotten. Game is polished even at this stage, and pretty nervous. Fun to play. Oh, and doing this with GZDoom ? It's pure sorcery. Amazing job guys. Go play it.
I have one 1 hour of playtime in this game and 90% of it was just walk around in empty corridors.

Not really sure about this one... Just seems kinda poorly balanced, and unsure about what it wants to be.. Armor does not really appear to do anything, so no reason to save-spam when losing it. Enemies are all the same soldier guy, with a couple of different weapons. Except for the rifle guy they all do insane damage, but rarely kill you, due to some, quite needed, "stop at 1 HP rule" Weapons are interesting, but the ones that do damage hurt yourself or obscures everything when used. This sort of results in this being a bit of a confused action game.. Its certainly not a boomer shooter, outside of the looks, because you cant really run and gun, due to the aforementioned, heavy damage from enemies, and actually good weapons obscuring the whole screen. There is no real space to dodge enemy attackes, since most areas are too small for that sort of thing, as well as enemy fire,.. not really being dodgable, most of the time.. I realise, that music taste is an individual thing, but the soundtrack, which can be purchased seperately, is just really bad... its all a bit of keyboard mucking-about, that starts out really obnoxious and unpleasent, and then later on just gets uninteresting and pointless.. The core mechancis of the game have potential.. Like its not all bad... I wish Steam had a point system, rather than Yes/No, so I could rank this game medium-lowish, rather than just No...
One of the finest FPS games I have ever played, it will always hold a special place in my heart! Incredible graphics, atmospheric storytelling, amazing gunplay and top notch AI make Selaco one of the best FPS games on the market, not to mention its fantastic audio, including a banging soundtrack! This game is the absolute gold standard, dripping with atmosphere, I cannot wait for the next chapters to come out!
If you like shooters where each gun feels and plays uniquely, gorgeous art style, great music, interesting story then you should really try this game out. I didn't expect much of it and it really overdelivered. Waiting for chapter 2!
One of the best FPS's I've ever played. So much to do, awesome firefights, massive levels, so much creativity. Just incredible!
Great title. Describing it as a boomer shooter does it a disservice, as it feels like a very good one, but it also feels like a unique blend of many great games. Technically it feels impressive, the gunplay is top notch and overall it feels like next-gen of games of this type. The devs balance exploration with main objectives in an intuitive and confident way. It has detailed and destructible environments (impressive for this type of graphics) and though some elements feel underutilized (mostly concerning the story) it has some personality to it and feels promising. On technical side it runs like butter... most of the time. The level of destruction and amount and persistence of particles and decals is top notch, but it can be quite demanding if put on max settings regardless of the PC specifications. I've only encountered two crashes across all my hours of gameplay. Even unfinished, this game has a lot of content, including a meaty bonus level that is not easy to unlock. Additionally there's a randomized special campaign if you beat the game once without cheats, and this is mostly the same game but the randomization adds some unpredictability, and is also deeply customizable. I'm looking forward to further chapters.
Is this what its like to be a women? Jokes aside, this is one of the best games I've ever played. plenty of hours you have to put in just to beat the first act (all though i might just be bad). I recommend this to anybody that likes linear, advanced enemy ai focused games like F.E.A.R or Half Life. I honestly didn't care for this game too much, just getting it because it was in a deal with Fallen Aces too (Which is also awesome). Since its on a really old game engine, this doesn't even need to be optimized to play on any pc. The game's visuals are still stunning regardless and VERY aesthetically pleasing. The game is also EXTREMELY polished, I haven't found a single bug. I'm dead honest not 1. If you hate unintended features, including the fun ones, this game is more than polished enough for you. If your a Halo fan, This gives me some real Halo 3 ODST vibes whenever i play it. The aesthetic of a futuristic city in ruin taken over by a huge alien presence is so alike to New Mombasa. Not to mention tones of mutators that act like skulls. If you like gore, idk how, but with 2d sprites they made some really detailed gore. The best part is that the aliens are made out of grape soda, making the gore PG and safe for children ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Despite not having the most interesting story, the world building in Selaco is fun. Despite never finding out what the hell the aliens even are (I like to think Aliens that studied people for a while and grape soda as well), the lore of humanity is kind of cool and I would give it a shot. 1 last note, there are Roombas that vacuum stuff up and you can pet them too. There's a mod that gives them a knife which is also great.
I think this might be the best game I have ever played and its only in early access but the road map is so juicy it makes my mouth water. The gunplay, the constant tension, and the movement are all incredible on their own but in tandem, it might be one of those 'you have to experience it to believe it' types of situations. And that doesn't fully express how absolutely amazing the AI (as is NPC AI, not this LLM nonsense) is. Enemies will outmaneuver, outplay, and outthink you. You stop moving, you die. You stop advancing tactically, you die. Cover is your friend, panic is your worst enemy. You have to be quick on your feet and even quicker in your moment to moment decision making, which relies heavily on making full use of your entire tactical arsenal. At all times. The game is so edge of your seat action (especially on higher difficulties), I would almost call it anxiety inducing except you have absolute agency. Every problem can be solved, every fight won, every boss laid low, every secret found. It is just up to you to come up with your own flavor of asymmetric tactics to savor victory. Building on that, the difficulty options are amazing, there is something for everyone. And after beating the existing campaign, I can guarantee you will want to go again, just with more. And new game plus gives you just that. NG+ campaigns have the option for mutators that make the same experience completely different. All in all a 10/10 game. I can barely wait for chapter 2.
Selaco drips with passion, and it shows immediately. In short: Selaco is absolutely thrilling and insanely fun. Selaco isn’t just a great retro FPS. It’s a masterclass in craftsmanship, a love letter to FPS gaming, and a modern evolution of the genre. What the Developers are doing with GZDoom is nothing short of technical artistry: This isn’t “cheap retro”, it’s high-density pixel art, crafted frame by frame. 2D sprites in a fully 3D space, with dynamic lighting, reflections, particles, and destructible environments, true 3D pixel art. Every wall, every screen, every piece of scenery is over-detailed, readable, and coherent. Nothing is there by chance. Selaco pushes the engine GZDoom to levels no one imagined possible: Ultra-smooth, fluid animations Interactive, immersive environments Aggressive, believable AI Surgical, precise sound design. You can feel the devotion of the Devs: They completely master GZDoom They love old-school FPS, but hold it to modern standards They take the time to craft every detail. One of the best indie FPS I’ve played in years. Massive respect to the team. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Thank you so much Altered Orbit Studios !
