You're a security officer deep within Area 51. Scan the staff, verify clearances, and decide who can enter the elevator and who absolutely mustn't leave. The deeper you go, the less certain you are that anyone standing before you is still human.

Security 51 is an atmospheric security guard simulator inspired by Papers, Please, and SCP paranoia. You're on duty in the underground bunker of Area 51, where the most dangerous part begins at the elevator: the shaft descends for miles down to unknown levels. Whether it's laboratories, anomalies, inhumane experiments, or something alien—you're not supposed to know. Your task is simple: let in those who have access and stop those who don't... even if everything looks "right" on the surface.
Everyone who passes through your checkpoint carries papers and passes. Your job is to check names, positions, clearance levels, and time, ensuring the number of people entering and leaving matches, and pay attention to any oddities. As time passes you'll catch yourself thinking that something's wrong more and more, and the only thing to rely on will be the protocols. But even they can be wrong.
With experience, you'll gain increasingly more accurate methods of identity verification, such as blood testing. Did that janitor simply open the wrong door, or are they a spy for an enemy government? Or are they not even human? When in doubt, quarantine the suspect. Sometimes you'll make mistakes and lock up an ordinary employee, and sometimes you'll find a titanium cell ripped open from the inside. Some decisions will have immediate consequences, others only after several shifts.
The consequences of every mistake go far beyond issues in the workplace. Let the wrong person out, and the infection will ravage the city. Isolate suspicious employees, investigate anomalies, and launch new operations to contain the threat before it's too late.
Remember, it's not just about who you let in, but who or what you let out into the world.

Not perfect but for the money, I can recommend it. I've never played a game like this before so it is new to me.

Honestly don't recommend as of now. The game lacks depth. You can choose whatever you want in the quarantine or city and you will go throught no matter what. The story of the game is shallow and short, without any reoccuring characters (except the guy that explains everything), plot twist or anything that would make you hooked. I completed 3 stages and the ending with all those branches and other stuff made me quit. Repetetive, easy, no complexity and kinda boring. I don't know if there is a hidden ending or objective in the game. The game just didn't make me want to try to find those things. Don't get me wrong, the game has potential. I think mechanics are good but devs need to step up with their combinations and quantity in each stage (for me it was to low and easy each stage). I will come back to this game after some updates and probably change the opinion :)
Really good game, however, it would be good if you could skip the tutorial after a game over. Or a way to keep the unlocked stuff because its extremely hard to unlock stuff and not starve
The interface isn't particularly pleasant to use, the tutorial approach is far too limiting, and early game you run into poorly articulated goals/rules. It's just very bland.
игра хоть и новая но почти копия papers please и можно было сделать озвучку и игра не дала тех ощущений которые представлял
Un paper please like sans prise de tete avec une evolution tranquille ! Je recommande pour les fans du genre
