About
Smooth, responsive and strategic combat mechanics. Think critically and make tactical decisions to ensure your success. Learn your enemies attack patterns and know when to dodge out of the way, when to parry, when to use your ultimate ability and when to strike back. Create your build as you play according to your playstyle: be a master of the elements or go all-in on pure physical damage. Be a speed demon dodging and evading enemies poking them from range with spears, or a slow berserker delivering devastating blows with massive axes.
Almost limitless combinations of weapons in terms of looks and stats. Choose from a wide variety of two-handed swords, fast spears to keep your enemies at range or slow but devastating axes. Each run is unique and you never know what upgrades or weapons you will get as drops from monsters and for completing stages. Adapt and strategize to playthroughs that are never the same.
Unlock new classes as you progress, each with its unique talent trees and game-changing effects. Choose carefully, as you can only pick one upgrade each stage from a selection of 3 randomly presented options. Be a fire mage destroying everything in your path with massive AOEs, burning damage and multiple projectiles. Or master lightning, shocking your enemies making them vulnerable to your melee attacks. Or take advantage of frost and cold, whizzing in and out of combat applying chill and freeze effects slowing your enemies in their tracks.
Hack and slash enemies in beautifully hand-crafted locations with randomized layouts on each run. Explore dark dungeons filled with aggressive skeletons, abandoned medieval villages, derelict cathedral libraries and courtyards, or gloomy and ominous cemeteries.
Death is not the end. Gain experience the longer you stay alive and improve your character after each playthrough with various perks from the talent tree making you more powerful and more prepared to progress further and further.
A variety of powerful adversaries to encounter, each with individual characteristics and abilities. Use different tactics to defeat them, as each type of enemy has different attack patterns and each boss has several phases that you need to strategize against.

This game has exactly 2 hours of content. "Unlockable new classes". Only differ by 1 spell "persistent upgrades" well these are just stats like +5% spear dmg, and you max it out very fast "randomly generated weapons" yeah there is almost no difference in weapons at all apart from level. Even the stats dont matter
fun game to play when im high
More fun than I expected, but it kinda feels like it's still in early access and really needs a lot of updates. The meta-progression is really lacking and there being only 4 weapon types makes things really repetitive. I do think the game is worth getting on sale, but it's not worth full price at its current state.
I really wanted to like this game, but there are just too many issues with core combat mechanics that make it more of a war of attrition with frustration. Many mechanics do not work half of the time or animations for attacks are so delayed that you instinctively hit parry when you see the attack coming but your parry animation is 4x faster than the attack animation. This is more of a rogue like incremental hero game than an action RPG. In short: - Action RPG with loot/gear is its own mode aside from campaign - Many weapon attacks appear to not registering on enemies at all. - Parry mechanic does not work most of the time and it is a survival style game where that mecchanic is critical to living on a run.
A fairly fun hack'n'slash VERY short "campaign" which will give you massive amounts of Class Points but nothing to spend them on when you've very quickly maxed them all out. Extraction Mode is as barebones as it can get, there is no indicator that you're about to be struck from behind, the checkpoint system is shameful and the rewards are beyond garbage. Daggers will finish the campaign for you remarkably quickly, but because of the game design they cannot be "fixed" (Odds on the devs will just nerf the Dagger DPS into the ground and claim it's a fix, rather than balance the DPS versus giving enemies better balance and stats to counteract) Needs: More Class Perks (I have 66 unspent points and it goes up by 1-2 each session) - Some simple ones could be turning stamina into HP, turning HP into stamina, extra move speed when wielding certain weapons etc 6/10, fun enough but not worth the $10 it's currently priced at.
needs more content, no updates since November as the dev states "not a live service game" this would be fair if the game had more than 2 hours of content. buy it, play for an hour and a half and find out yourself. least then you can refund it as nothing more is coming.
This game did not run well for me. Put it on mid settings, and it was rough. It's fun when I'm not constantly lagging.
A super fun game after a few hours, however more and more you dive in you see how buggy it is, further you get in especially the last section is where i wanted to quite. The enemy spawn was all over the place with how you had to bounce to isle to isle trying to find 1 enemy to be bale to go to the next section, as well not being able to kill any of them forcing you to either restart or save the run and go back in it. The finale boss which im currenlty at right now and is BROKEN, the buffs i have make the finale boss static floating in the air, for over 5 plus minutes until he does something then goes back in the air and repeats. The bugs are very annoying and really should be addressed and fixed because once im done with this boss fight i probs wont come back to the game after experiencing these bugs especially the finale boss. I say pick it up on sale which it is right now and give it a go and see for yourself. Its still a fun game dont get me wrong, please give it a try and support the sevs for doing something amazing but again these bugs really destroy any happiness i had for the game.
Man stamina bars are the straightest things in the world.
Another Indie game with the worst optimization you can ever imagine. Built in mouse lag. And you can't turns shadows lower than "high". No point. Save your money.
