Not a crazy game, but it's good enough to give the need to go deeper in it. There's some negative things I find in this game : - Fights are awfull in the beginning (You need to get some level to unlock what I feel like to be mandatory skills to have a smooth experience). - There is out of combat mechanism, but it's just poorly/badly designed (you do electric, you attack a generator on a door, door open). - Main characters are a bit off with their feelings (can't tell because there is spoilers), plus I don't like the personality of Kasane as a dandere combined with a kuudere. - DLCs are useless, mainly bad cosmetics, items that exist already in game, and recolors. - I don't know why but I don't like how the dialogues are, static windows with the character that is speaking basically. And then some positive things : - Combat feels smoother and better with levels. - Some strong mechanics that makes the whole process fun, it also adds the need to get levels and unlock more skillpoints for more fun. - I love the geometrical aspect in this game. - The story isn't bad, I feel like it's more deep than most anime game actually. I recommend, not full price though. 13/20.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 21 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

美术绝了
Good story, good characters, good combat. Although, the last couple chapters had many repeats of the same annoying enemies and had me very frustrated. Overall, still reflect on this game positively.
absolutely love this game. Cutscenes in powerpoint mode kinda blow but when animated are goated. I think the combat's really really fun and enjoyable. I'm not someone who really replays games in New Game + but this game has hooked me enough to make this game a comfortable pick when I don't know what else to play.
Scarlet Nexus — A Stylish Blend of Action and Mind-Bending Power Scarlet Nexus delivers a thrilling action RPG experience that combines fast-paced combat, psychic abilities, and a futuristic narrative filled with mystery and emotional conflict. Set in the technologically advanced world of New Himuka, the game throws players into humanity’s desperate battle against grotesque creatures known as the Others, creating a story that constantly balances spectacle with psychological tension. Combat is where Scarlet Nexus shines the brightest. The game’s Psychokinesis system allows players to hurl environmental objects at enemies while seamlessly chaining melee attacks and special abilities together. Playing as Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall offers two distinct combat styles and perspectives, adding variety and replay value. The SAS system, which lets players borrow powers from allies, creates satisfying strategic depth and keeps encounters dynamic from start to finish. Exploration is more focused compared to open-world RPGs, but the detailed environments and futuristic cityscapes help maintain immersion. Between missions, bonding events with teammates deepen character relationships and provide meaningful upgrades, giving the cast personality and emotional weight. While some side activities feel repetitive, the strong pacing keeps the experience engaging throughout its lengthy campaign. Visually, Scarlet Nexus embraces a sleek anime-inspired aesthetic with vibrant effects and stylish presentation. Combat animations are fluid and explosive, making every psychic attack feel impactful. The soundtrack complements the futuristic setting well, blending energetic battle themes with atmospheric tracks that enhance both emotional and high-intensity moments. The story takes ambitious turns involving memory, identity, politics, and time manipulation. While the narrative can become complicated at times, its unpredictable twists and character-driven moments help maintain intrigue. The dual-protagonist structure also encourages players to experience both sides of the conflict for a fuller understanding of the world.
Final Verdict:
Scarlet Nexus successfully combines stylish action combat with an engaging sci-fi narrative and memorable characters. Despite some repetitive mission structure and complex storytelling, its creative gameplay systems and strong presentation make it a standout anime action RPG experience. "Unleash the power of the mind, forge bonds beyond reality, and fight to protect a world consumed by madness." Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 8/10

垃圾游戏没什么好说的,小怪比最终boss难打,最终boss捣鼓几下就没了,小怪你他妈的能在我脑内空间两下给我干死,继承等级之后小怪难打依旧难打,战斗依托,男女主性能天差地别
un bon beat them up comme on les aimes. nerveux avec plein deffets comme un combat dans un manga... top
I liked playing this video game, I can tell because I played through it twice, but overall I feel like it has given me little in terms of... anything, really. The story isn't that convoluted for how many moving pieces are there, but there's so many places in which it feels overcomplicated and undercooked. The characters recognise that the countries they serve are corrupt and do many terrible things, but they still follow orders. Their plan for fixing things feel appropriate for a bunch of teenagers, which they are, but they are not good storytelling material. Also, it feels like a majority of the plot happens to this characters. They they don't have a lot of agency until the entire gang gets together and by then the game is almost over. Speaking of the gang, the real star of the writing are the character interactions. Although you are in control of only two characters, the whole cast feels like a group of friends, which is very nice. The combat feels great, is very varied and the kit you get is very good and gives you multiple solutions to many problems. But the basic actions you take to actually fight things don't feel satisfying in the same way. Enemies can interrupt you with ranged attacks from off screen while you are using a move with a wind up and there's nothing you can do about that. The dodge only has invincibility at the very start and if you get hit during it you fly backwards and combat slows down a lot. Many of the equippable upgrades you get feel like they should have been permanent upgrades in the skill tree instead (like improved dodge invincibility and immunity to knockback during dodges and attacks). I feel like the basic combat was made to be a slower and more methodical style of action games and then the powers you can borrow from your teammates just break it. The exploration elements of this game are... certainly there. Towns contain side quests, and most of them are incredibly annoying to complete. Levels have area data that you can trade for items, and enemies have their own drop tables, but the items you'll be using most of are still better purchased with normal money. Unless of course the items you want come from the simulator, in which case... The combat simulator is a way to get some powerful items, assuming you can survive it. Remember when I said I had trouble with the combat? Well, that was when the enemies were the same level as me. When you unlock the simulator, the enemies in there have double your level. This is clearly a NG+ thing that you are given access in a normal playthrough in case you are confident with the game. I think if you're gonna put level 40 enemies in the simulator, you should unlock the simulator when they don't kill me in two hits. This is not a terrible game. I had fun, although it took a lot to adjust to the style of gameplay this game wants you to have. But overall it's one of the weaker action games I've played.
