Amazingly fun and challenging! The mix of platformer, RPG, and action keeps you engaged, the backgrounds and enemies are pretty unique and not just a sea of reskinned generic entities, each type has different mechanics bringing strategy into the mix!
2025 was a really horrid year, but this Christmas gave me hope that this game will eventually be finished with a miraculous game update. Bless Tobor for his hard work.
Shows a lot of potential for an early access game. Can't wait to see it finished
Solid early access game - would have been a dream to have on the SNES back in the day. Looking forward to seeing where the author takes this.
last update in 2021, avoid
Man, this is such a cool concept but idk if its ever getting finished
It IS peak pixel art, which i inherently love pixel art, and this pixel art is top tier. It is a large shame that this is allegedly abandonware (according to the community) as i feel this game has massive potenshil. It has avery dork souls feel to it with the levelling and weapon handling attributes, anything dork souls is an automatic yes from me (playability permissable). This game wood be phenomenal pixel art side scrolling dark akshin with a little more polish. But for an alleged one man team, WOW, GREAT WORK SIR. (the work that has been done anyway, but i cannot condone such abandonware practice, sadly its what the gaming industry is moving towards, abandonware or microtransactions). I am on the fence, but the gameplay, art, style, combat itself is very solid for abandonware. If you must, buy it on sale.
I've played more that the time shown, maybe 5-6 hours. Only reason I stopped is I'm waiting for the game to be finished. Can't wait to see the finished product!
What I love about this is that you can really tell that the dude making this game has a passion for detail. He has a vision and he's pushing right a long with it. I love the feel of the game with all of it's retro-ness. It's nice to see games like this still being made, but with a bit more modern physics. I don't normally bother with reviews, but I felt this was worth some praise.
