Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.43/day in the week to Aug 19 → 26.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to SAND: Raiders of Sophie. Pilot your custom built war machines across the dunes of a fallen planet, battle rival players, scavenge for loot, weapons, ammo and resources, survive and extract with your spoils in a massive procedurally generated world.
Out here on Sophie, a raider is only as strong as their Trampler. Fully customizable, gigantic walking mechs that shield you from the elements, defend you and your loot from rival scavengers and rain destruction on anything that obstructs your pursuit of becoming the most notorious raider upon the dunes!
Design a modular trampler where your creativity and will to succeed is your only limit.
Build an impenetrable fortress that can weather the deadliest of assaults, a walking war machine stacked with mounted turrets and firepower, something small and stealthy to get you out of trouble as quickly as you get into it or a chaotic jumble of modules to confuse and disorient your enemies.
No matter your playstyle, you can design a trampler to support it.
Get your crew together, or go solo as you embark on expeditions. Deploy into the world, chart your course, and scavenge cities, ruins, shipwrecks and other remnants of a fallen world for loot. Survive encounters with the mysterious supernatural Upiors, fight or talk your way out of confrontations with other players, locate your extract point and escape to the safety of the orbital station with your loot, life and Trampler intact.
Smoke on the horizon, the groans of the undead echoing through the cities, and the distant rumble of sand all signal danger. Every city looted, shipwreck scoured or ill-timed encounter with other scavengers might just be your last, so keep your wits about you.
There are no friends on Sophie, the only ones you can trust are you and yours.
Design your Tramplers from scratch in the Trampler Editor before deploying into the world. Test your builds and scavenge lower-tier items at your own pace in Voyage Mode, or raise the stakes in Storm Dive for higher-tier loot and greater rewards, where as sandstorms slowly engulf the region, the risk of confrontations with other scavengers and the loss of your hard earned loot increases.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game has its moments and all but the rampant cheater problem is really discouraging. I think if the problems aren't resolved, the game will go the same way as Lost Oasis. Already I'm finding it nearly impossible to find anyone irl to play with me on this game since they all take one glance at the reviews and run for the hills. When you don't have a 2-3 man in solo sprint at Mach-Jesus across the other side of the desert to your face, ignoring several times fatal damage, remotely shutting down your reactor every 2 seconds, instantly repairing their damage, them still managing to miss every shot with a 12ga. At point blank, and you don't need to bribe someone with cuddle times on their couch at 1am just to play with you to get you out of solo... Then the game is actually really enjoyable ;) I'd honestly rather play sea of thieves since it seems like people still play that game despite the years it's been out, though I do like Sand's dieselpunk aesthetic it has going on. When you're not being ran down like a wild hog by 1/3rd of the U.S. Military, you get to feel like a scared tugboat captain, surrounded by circling U-boats as you try to make a run towards extraction with 2 revolvers and some old napkins you found in a rubbish pile. The sights can be really pretty like the giant ominous gas giant looming over the horizon like some malevolent god, deaf to your prayers when a skill-less cheater blows up your reactor from 50 miles away like he had a rail gun. The sound design for the mech and the cannons are really satisfying if you're into old style tech. Fights can actually get pretty cinematic if you can ignore the cheaters. Ngl though I've been more inconvenienced by Sand Cheaters than I have from when I was cheated *on*. Guy was strange looking anyways but imagine coming home from work at like 2am. You have a few hours left before the sun rises so you boot up your favorite game, AKA Sand, and you play carefully and skillfully. Just as you're about to extract and the irl sun is beginning to shine through your windows, you hear a noise so you turn around and it's like 5 tramplers when you're in solo queue. They all collectively fire 80mm which all land perfectly on your forehead and you explode. If I was a masochist I'd recommend this game 10/10 but that's usually my boyfriends. I'd best describe my emotional state as being like that of a monkey stuck in a pinata, hoping the kids don't break through with the sticks.
Bugs and glitches are nothing next to the flood of cheaters in this game. “They listen to the community” — seriously? If they did, they’d stop obsessing over bugs and finally fix the anti‑cheat. The game isn’t ruined by bugs; it’s ruined by cheaters. At this point - I cannot recommend this game.
I get that it is early access, but it feels more like a glorified tech demo. The idea is great, but the execution is so half baked at this point that the it feels like a chore to play. The glitches, exploits, and clunkiness of almost every mechanic makes it very apparent that there was not nearly enough testing before the devs launched early access. If you like the biggest learning curve in a game to be trying to get mechanics to work even remotely close to as advertised, then this is the game for you.
По началу читеров было не так много, но на сегодняшний день их настолько много, что лут пропадает с трамплера и вы ничего не сможете сделать.
I really wish I could recommend this game, I want this to be the inheritor of the Guns of Icarus legacy. Unfortunately, at least with the current state of the game, this game is not worth playing. As of 8/2/2026 there have been minimal changes to the balance or exploitation of this game's systems with updates being delayed repeatedly and communication being sporadic from the development team. My Main issues currently are as follows: -Gameplay imbalance: This for me is the one issue that will result in the death of this game. Currently there is no balancing in the matchmaking, meaning that new players will face players with hundreds of hours and gear well beyond their capability to match. Most matches I find myself against players with end of tech tree items and highest grade cannons and small arms, most items I have nothing of comparable quality to match, or ability to play around. This game exclusively rewards people who put in hundreds of hours in, to the detriment of all other players. You NEED to play this game as a full time job to have a chance to compete. (Truly what am I supposed to do when I have a tier 2 trampler and I'm being chased by a tier 4 with seemingly infinite speed boost?) -Cheating & exploiting: Much has been said about the teleporters, duplicators, and trampler thieves. I have only been a victim of obvious cheaters a couple times, but the system to enforce it is weak and ineffective, often kicking players when they experience an in game glitch. This has been present for a couple weeks as of writing Final Summation: I think this game blew it's load too early, and and releasing in this state will ultimately lead to a large fall off of the player base. However, it is early access, and there's time for them to turn things around, but with the pace of updates and lack of communication by the dev team it will probably be a year or two before this game is worth touching. Save your hairline and your money and wait on this one.
