The music and characters are way better than the SW5 reboot, lots of content, very fun to play
Online Coop doesnt work at all
classic
Online Co-Op doesn't work, which is why I bought it.

KOEI finally learned how to properly port a game.
The optimization of this games really sucks. Always freaking crush. You cannot even shut it down from program management.
Coming after and being a huge fan of playing dynasty warriors 8 xl, i came into this game with high expectations of something of similar quality. But again and again this game continues to disappoint me the longer i play it. First, lets talk about the positives: The port is well made for PC experience and easy to control. Character designs in this era of dw8 and sw4 is unbeatable Gameplay is entertaining though it feels less satisfying and less flashy compared to DW The AI navigation when you're off character is very good as well Now the disappointments: First. The story. Maybe perhaps due to the way history unfolded, focusing on 8 different "legends" compared to DW's 3, the story telling and levels in SW4 are spread incredibly thin. There is no room to build any ounce of character development or convince the player to feel a sense of connection to the characters. I simply just don't care or feel invested when a character achieves something or meets their fate because there was not enough build for me to care. For example Oda Nobunaga. The "CaoCao" of SW. Such a prominent character ends up being completely underwhelming and one dimensional. As if this game has only barely scratched the top of the iceberg of this character. You cant understand his ideology, his psyche or his true personality from what this game presents you. How does DW8 give more personality and development to each 82 characters than SW4 with 55 characters. Characters show up and disappear without proper explanation explanation Cutscenes are very short that they end up losing their effectiveness and don't contribute anything to evoking feelings in the player. For example the final cutscene. the finale. of uniting Japan. All we get is a 10s cutscene THAT DOESNT DO ANYTHING. Not to mention in game battle cutscenes like the boulders and the ships docking are heavily re-used across the chapters. And it's really annoying that the character move set is locked behind their levels because sometimes you only get to play with that character once in a story mode and end up playing them in level 1 with 3 moves. You cant spend coins or anything to upgrade them either. In all, i was very disappointed with the way this game handled the story and its characters as the flow of the story is usually very rushed, short and abrupt, as well as not allowing any sort of character development or understanding.
