This is an amazing single player game, the story is wacky and fun, the mission design is cool, the comedy works most of the time. Both DLCs have really good content too. Had a blast with the abilities and traversal. The music choice during certain missions is really cool too. Overall had a blast (solo) with the story and combat and exploration during the game. In Co-op this game is a mess. There are constant disconnects, disconnects with partner at main story checkpoints consistently during certain missions, there is even an infinite loading screen during one of finale missions in co-op. I wish these issues were fixed so that the fun playing this in co-op would have not being ruined. For achievement hunting, this is a grind fest much more grindy than Saints Row 3. All the stuff is doable but requires several replay's and retries and finding areas to farm weapon kills, Warden kills and all other challenges the game puts you through for these achievements and 100% completion. Overall would recommend playing this for the story solo rather than co-op or 100% completion.

Aside from a few on-rails missions, this is an incredibly fun game. The freedom, powers and guns are all great.

Honestly I had a fair amount of fun with this game despite it really not being that great overall. However I have to leave negative review due to this game's absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ technical state. Despite the previous game being completely fine, for whatever reason this game's mulitplayer is buggy as ♥♥♥♥ and the friend I was trying to play with had constant crashing & lag issues. Also if you're in Australia and want to buy this game, do yourself a favour and grab the global version from elsewhere because the AU version on steam is censored and doesn't support co-op with the non-AU version.
