The story is a mix of disconnected clichés: first terrorism, then an alien invasion, then a Matrix-style simulation. It all comes across as a mess, and the game can’t decide what it wants to be — a superhero action flick, a standalone comedy, or just an empty open world. In the end, it ends up as a weird hodgepodge of parodies of other titles with no real backbone or Saints Row spirit. There are far more gameplay problems than new features. Superpowers are handed out without any setup or character development along the story, and they don’t make up for the overall repetitiveness: many mechanics and the damage balance are just as weird and off as in previous entries. The feeling of “they just repackaged the old stuff” never really goes away. The Russian localization is sloppy. Lots of mistakes, mixed-up pronouns, wrong name translations (and sometimes no translation at all). If you didn't like Saints Row 3, there's no clear reason to get the fourth one. When i launch the game, epic game store installs iteself without permission. And then it constantly asking me to make epic game store account. Too bad, was a fun game. Uninstalled this peace of garbage.

[h1]Yes, Saints Row 4 is the least Saints Row game in the entire series.[/h1] On the internet I've been seeing people try to say that Saints Row 4 is not a bad Saints Row game and for a long time I agreed with that, the super powers are fun and some parts of the story are actually funny and enjoyable but after replaying SR2, SR3, and now SR4 I find my opinion quickly changing each time I hop on this game with a friend to replay it. I can talk all day about how this game "paying reverence and tribute" to the series' roots is purely nostalgia-bait for the old school fans or how genuinely awful the Marvel-tier writing in this game is at times or the countless references that were dated when this game came out and are dated now but nobody wants to sit here and read all of that. Despite my grievances with the story there is so much stuff I genuinely loved such as the audio logs you can find scattered around the world that are either very inciteful to a character's lore or are very funny. The dialogue between party members, especially having Keith David in your party along with Julius because it's literally Keith David just talking to himself. There's so much stuff in this game that made me go "Wow that was cool! Too bad it's in this game though." and it just makes me so frustrated because the special sauce that makes this series unique was there but the direction that the team had was just awful. I couldn't even recommend it for a single playthrough [b]UNLESS[/b] you and a friend can play this game, then it's actually kind of fun but you won't miss out on much if you don't play this game at all. It's the type of game you can have the story explained to you in a TikTok video and you wouldn't miss a single thing. Wanna know the worst part? [b]The game hardly even works on modern computers[/b] with crashes everywhere and co-op breaking all of the time and the devs updated the game years ago but fixed five bugs and added Epic Games Launcher support. Огромное количество сатиры и всего подобного. Прошёл один раз на пиратке во время студенчества и уже добил на Steam в последствии. Радиостанции просто шик, куча треков до сих пор в плейлисте. Неплохая игра, в этой части градус абсурда уже на максимуме. Сюжет начинается с того, что главный герой, глава группировки, становится президентом США, но на Землю прилетают инопланетяне и уничтожают ее, а выжившие Святые оказываются заперты в виртуальной реальности. Как только герою удается вырваться из этой симуляции, его перебрасывает в другую с помощью подруги, и благодаря тому, как она изменила код, герой получает суперспособности и путешествует по симуляциям, спасая своих друзей и вытаскивая их в реальный мир. В ходе одного из таких поисков он находит друга и узнает, что его друг, который ранее погиб в Saints Row: The Third, на самом деле был похищен этими пришельцами, поскольку антагонист считал его главной угрозой. В финальной битве герой одерживает победу и занимает трон повелителя галактики. Делая выбор и продвигаясь по сюжету, мы придем к одной из концовок. Эта часть полностью ушла от механик GTA, теперь это супергеройский экшен. Транспорт и тюнинг полностью отпали, в этом больше нет нужды. Все, что было в прошлой части, просто перекочевало в эту часть с минимальными изменениями. Прокачка героя однообразна и больше напоминает гринд. Хорошая графика и музыкальное сопровождение. За игру 8 из 10
