Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask

Animasyonlar çok uzun karakterler yavaş hareket ediyor ( Koşmak bile yavaş geliyor ), diyaloglardaki satırlar arasındaki duraklamalar aşırı uzun ve karakterlerin konuya gelmesi çok uzun zaman alıyor gibi geliyor. Diyaloglarla ilgili diğer bir sorun ise karşılıklı çekim bile olsa ilgi çekici bir şekilde sunulmuyorlar. Hiçbir temposu yok ve son derece sıkıcı. Belki hikaye gerçekten sağlamdır ama sadece 2 saat dayanabildim. Ana karakter konuşmaktan şikayet etmekten ve daha çok şikayet etmekten başka hiçbir şey yapmayan sevimsiz bir paranoyak. Belirtebileceğim tek olumlu yönler güzel arka planlar ve iyi seslendirme.

Für den Preis wirklich hohe Qualität, ist aber auch kein Wunder, da es ein Teaser für das Hauptspiel ist (der wohl mal kostenlos war) und jetzt für den Full Release Lust machen soll. Dieser kostet allerdings 25€ UVP und ist somit für uns raus. Persönlich fand ich cool, dass es sich auf die Perchten bzw. auf die Winterverbrennung bezieht, allerdings schade, dass es wohl eine Überarbeitung gab und wir die Teufel nicht mehr ingame sehen, diese aber noch im Preview dargestellt werden. Leider hatte ich den Eindruck im Prolog nicht wirklich ein Point & Click zu spielen, da es bis auf den einen Schrank keine wirklich Rätsel gab oder sonst irgendwelche Funktionen die das rechtfertigen. Das Spiel ist sehr storylastig, allerdings ist diese recht spanndend geschrieben, wenn auch etwas stereotypisch. Alles in allem sehr solide, für eine Bestnote fehlt mir aber noch etwas der WOW-Effekt. Es fühlt sich etwas so an als hätten wir Geld für eine Demo bezahlt, da der Prolog auch nicht wirklich viel Mehrwert und Kontext zur Story beizutragen schein. I am really trying to get into it but it's not fun... I am falling asleep and want to play a game on my phone to choke down the dialog ... Dang I am sure they are just trying to tell a story .

Gra dla osób, które nie znudzą się długimi dialogami a interesuje je również opowieść. Zagadki nie są zbyt trudne, ale mimo to trzeba trochę się nakombinować jak opuścić aktualną lokalizację. W przypadku kiedy nie wiemy co robić dalej, jest wskazówka gdzie znajdują się aktywne pola. Postacie są "sztywne" ale mnie to nie przeszkadzało.

i really loved yellow mask. the recommend/not recommend of steam it's a binary system that is really difficult to adopt here. I loved yellow mask for what it is, but what it is, is NOT what he say it is. This game is NOT a prologue of saint kotar. It's the first draft of the game. Beware of that. Saint kotar will rewrite/retcon this game and events of yellow mask, with change in characters and events. As it is, is more of an What if scenario than a prologue. The tone is the same of saint kotar albeit i found yellow mask a more strong start of the narrative, and because of this i found the beginning of the main game a delusion. The characters are more interesting in yellow mask, and this game makes bold choices that i don't necessarily found in the beginning of saint kotar. I really don't get why this "prologue" exist in the form that it exist now. make it a dlc for the main game, or a free demo again.

It's great that the original prologue is back on Steam. Even though it's been here awhile, I've only now seen it. Grabbed it with the Crawling Man comic book in a bundle for the price of a coffee. Well worth it!

Впервые вижу представителя жанра Point & Click в отрыве от жанра Квест. Два часа бессмысленного брожения туда-сюда с оверзатянутыми диалогами про одно и тоже. Один - религиозный фанатик, говорящий только о своей библии и поиске сестры, второй - сидящий на морфии агрессивный идиот, и ещё какие-то персонажи, которые тоже зациклены на одном и том же. И этот цирк длится больше 2 часов, хотя всё это можно было бы сократить раза в два минимум. Надеюсь полная игра будет получше, о чем, в принципе, и говорят отзывы. Но пока впечатление такое себе.
