Safe House A puzzle-based game, following a minimal spy-story, where you are the building manager, which expands these "daily" operations as you build new rooms in your "safe house" to unlock new puzzle games, which you are asked to carry out, in random sequences. +If you like puzzle-based games. +If you like simpistic old bond-style music +If you like casual repetition. -A little unresponsive. I think the game does what it is supposed to, very well. It is NOT a spy adventure, rts, shooter, sleuth game. It is an Office Manager game. I suspect I will be returning to play some more of this game again... when I need that old puzzle-game fix.
I so wanted this game to be good.... Yet it's essentially unplayable. Even if the interface, (which lags like a turbo engine from the 70's), was fixed, what you're left with is an inane set of pointless and boring mini-games. Scroll, click, then match some letters or decode a message using an alphabet-shift (you need to write down) and you get some money. But why?! Why am I doing this simple and boring task?! You get no information from them, no advancement in the story...just some money to buy another room so you can play a different version of the same mini-game. I've had head colds that were more fun. This is supposed to be a strategy spy game...so where is the strategy? When do I get to make decisions, plan an operation, decide if someone is lying to me or not? If the answer is after several hours of 3rd grade letter puzzles, you've failed Intro to Game Design on day one. As a huge le Carre fan, I was looking forward to a cerebral espionage game that wasn't just another shooter in a tuxedo. Instead this game is nether; it's more Sudoko but less sexy and thrilling. DO NOT BUY, stick to Spy Party.

Ugly graphics and unintuitive Esc controls. Pess Esc while ingame to get Menu, can't press Esc again (nothing happens). Esc to go back? Nope. Esc to cancel action? Nope. You have to actually press the X/arrow back/continue, but not Esc. At one point the game actually froze and i pressed CtrlAltDel like anyone would, it was then i noticed that it was using 100% of my GPU, AMD RX 480 with 8gb memory. Otherwise it's a micro-management game, set in a spy safe house. Mini puzzles. I returned the game. Mainly because of the clumsy controls.
This has got to be the worst game ever made! Buggy, clicks don't register. Bombs don't work. Mouse barely moves. Story Sucks. There's no Window mode. You're being timed while you go backwards five letters in the alphabet. It's hard to believe that this was a rip-off of "Paper's Please".
This game is buggy and just outright boring to play. It needs significant change to the structure. I would save your money!
So far the only complaint I have is that it is not a very user friendly game.
This game costs just $10 and its good value for the money. You play as the manager in a CIA safe house in a made up African nation. You have to build up your safe house, mostly by playing mini-games. None of them are complicated, but there are enough different ones that you never get stuck in a a grove and the tension remains high. It’s made by only one person and there are a couple of bugs. I do like the stylized art work and I really like the soundtrack. It’s worth picking up.
本来以为是我喜欢的辐射避难所一样的游戏,结果....除了回答暗号之外就无法进行下去了...这游戏做完了没有?
不好
(Full disclosure, I'm one of this game's kickstarter backers) So much potential in the concept, utterly squandered on barebones presentation and banal, if not utterly frustrating minigames. It gives me no pleasure to say that apart from the soundtrack, this game was an utter letdown. If you need a fix of mid-century spy thriller aesthetics with some compelling management mechanics throughout, stick to Evil Genius 2. Sure, that's a big-budget production rather than a one-man crowdfunded effort, but at least it's a fun enough experience that does exactly what it says on the tin.
