Cannot backtrack before you get to the ending of hunting down the previous game's protag, poorly implemented faction "war" system which barely works except if you join with one of the factions, piss poor amount of bandages that I had to buy them from loners and other factions I was friends with and also once again another bad really hard ending where you cannot go anywhere to resupply prior, I learnt the hard way I couldn't get out of Limansk, so spoiler, do not go into that town until you are ready and repaired your gear otherwise it will be a slogfest, also bring your MG ammo because this is the only area to my knowledge where you can get it besides the other mission where you can get a tank machine gun. Also also, the swamps suck ass, literally cannot walk a few metres before being stuck walking but at least its not the whole game. I can see why people don't like this title much, overall I give this game a 5/10, its decent but its not as good as S: COP in my opinion

This is much harder than the first game, and I lost some time due to a game-breaking bug. So, I thought about not recommending it. Just create new saves before/after you leave an area, and you should be fine. It's the most challenging entry of the trilogy by far. Loot and money are more scarce. There are turf wars in this game, which are neat, but also somewhat rushed and confusing. You can ignore the smaller objectives, but each objective gets you some cash and loot. It's annoying that you can be at a smaller objective, but it may be cancelled for seemingly no reason. Just don't let your team capture the enemy base without you, or you will miss out on some good loot. The story is explained in more depth, and it's well written. The vibe of some factions is more fleshed out. Some of the events that happen during the game are fun and cool. There is a weapon upgrade system, which is kind of cool, but also a way to eat up tons of cash. There is a lot of dialog in the beginning to the point of being a little irritating. Some of the maps from the old game are reused. This is actually nice, because it helps to be familiar with the areas due to the increased difficulty. There are enough added maps and variety that it doesn't seem lazy, but rather a way to tie in to the original plot. So, yeah, some things pissed me off, but I had a good time.

I just couldn't get into it like the first one. Annoying traversal mixed with too many unimportant and unnecessary characters and quests lead to unfun game play.
