S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is straight up tremendous and somehow even tighter than the first one. A litleee bit less broken, more focused, and still keeps that same brutal Zone energy that doesn’t care if you live or die. Exploration feels better, side missions actually matter, and the whole thing just flows without losing that raw chaos the series is known for. Gunfights are still messy in the best way, atmosphere is insane as always, and the world just pulls you in without needing to scream for attention. And the ending? legit great. It actually feels earned, not some rushed nonsense, and wraps things up in a way that sticks. Still janky here and there, sure, but at this point that’s basically part of the identity. badass game, no question. Final score: 9.5/10
