Rusty Lake: Roots

Как всегда, очередная потрясающая игра любимой серии, и, к удивлению, одна из немногих, что я прошёл впервые. Хотя она - одна из самых значимых в лоре серии, ведь повествует о рождении одного из главных персонажей серии и корней вплоть до прадедушек. Единственное - я не знаю, кем нужно быть и сколько времени потратить, чтобы самостоятельно закрыть достижение "Laura", или же создать белый, чёрный кубы, а уж тем более - коктейль, это просто вопрос "каааак?!!". В остальном, как всегда - браво. Сюжет и мир этой вселенной не перестаёт удивлять, а разработчики - грамотно его дополнять и радовать сюрреалистичной и мистической атмосферой. Не буду юлить - я большой поклонник этой серии игр.

So this creepy cozy has lore, fantastic. The longest game out of the three but easy to bet in a weekend.

Pros - A wide range of challenge with the puzzles. Some of them legitimately feel really obtuse, which I didn't mind too much but I did need a guide at points - Very curious (but morbid/horrifying) storyline. You may want to play the others in the series that come before this first. - Feels pretty hefty despite being a relatively short game Cons - Some of it just did not vibe with me personally - There is a lot of content, which is great for those who want to chip away at each story and take breaks. Not great for someone like me who loves doing these types of games in one sitting. I lost patience with some of it about half way

A very good game. It isn't only a great puzzle game, it has some good lore. Might be my favourite Rustly Lake game.

All the Rusty Lake games are really good, for not only being great puzzle games, but also featuring a very deep lore. I think Roots does the best of truly capturing the atmosphere of these games. Everything in it feels so oppressive, the art style, music, the exhausted faces of the characters staring at the player, it all feels like something quite terrible is happening, even when the game strays a little from its harsher themes.
