Is to Rusty Lake what Richard Kelly is to David Lynch... It tries so hard to get the same mood and weirdness of a Rusty Lake game, but stumble and instead of taking inspiration and making something of their own, they do the exact same thing, but worse. Seriously, I know the dev is supposed to be a solo dev, but that doesn't really excuse to make what is essentially a literal clone. It has almost indistinguishable (but always slightly worse) graphics, the same concepts, identical UI, exactly the same mechanics, very similar puzzles, almost the exact same sound effects, they have Starry Night, they have their own version of a corupted soul... Seriously, when you solve a puzzle the top right corner light up and a chime is heard, I'm not even joking... If I hadn't played any Rusty Lake games, then this would have been fine i guess, but I can't really accept this blatant of a clone, without calling it out. Boreding on plagerizing, but it's just lazy. Do better developer, you can take inspiration, but do something unique.
A good puzzler if you have a few hours to spend and no interest in narrative. Paradixion: Son's Room is not shy about copying from Rusty Lake and is composed of puzzles with no connecting story thread. Although it opens with the question, 'Where Am I,' the game never really provides an answer. Game-play is split into four sections which cycle through the same few rooms. Although the landscape is familiar, the puzzles and solutions change slightly with each iteration. For the most part, the puzzles are of the 'find and use' variety and are explained by clues found in the environment. There are a few mechanical puzzles (pipes, slider, logic). The game has an explicit save (click on a picture in a room) which is not documented. This is important to know, as your full progress is not auto-saved on exit. I found the game to be a okay, but a bit tedious. I started over (which explains a few hours of my in-game time) since I had lost track of my own progress since the last time I played. There are several points in the game where I found myself in a 'try this... try that... click on everything' mode to figure out how to proceed. The end game still has me a bit puzzled and I have no idea what it was supposed to mean!
진엔딩 슬프다고 말한 사람 최소 나뭇잎 떨어지는거 보고 눈물 흘리실듯;
This is in exactly the style of the Rusty Lake games with similar weird puzzles. If you have played Rusty Lake games you won't find this difficult but it is reasonably entertaining. OK for the price. I hit a bug in the final puzzle of the game where the dumbwaiter returned and the game just stopped. I could move about but couldn't carry out any further actions.
