Like all RuneScape games, community is at the heart of everything we do.
We've shaped our entire roadmap based on player feedback, leading us to launch dedicated servers earlier than planned, introduce new combat and new quest content. Working together we're continuing to develop RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Whether you're adventuring with friends or going it alone, every opinion matters, and it's up to you to help us shape the future of our game.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds started Alpha testing in late 2024, and is launching into Early Access in Spring 2025. From here, our humble team of heroes is developing the project with player feedback at the very core.
This Steam Early Access game is currently not a finished game and may or may not change significantly over the course of development. To learn more about Steam Early Access, please visit the Steam Early Access FAQs.

8/10. FANTASTIC with friends - single player might be a bit lonely. So looking forward to the official release - Although I haven't played this since the previous update, I'm looking forward to updating this review after the official release.
The game has a good foundation and good rhythm. The only tweaks id suggest is to base building some of the roofing doesn't quiet mesh well when using triangle pieces. I've been trying to make a small castle hybrid. Currently I am having issues getting triangle roofs to blend well with the standard 45 or 30 degree roofing.
great gameplay, awesome graphcis
Okay so, i've spent a bit over 60H+ in this game solo/Co-Op with 2 friends, and we gotten to the last zone. All i can say is the game has more content then i expected. + Skill levels system. + Open world exploring. + Crafting Systems, All materials are useful (to a certain point) but most of times. + To The World layout and music, very immersive. + To skills, very fun to use skills that you learn over-time and jumping across stuffs. -To combat, feels clunky sometimes, mining etc, you press attack 1 time, but he hits 2 times, like spamming your keyboard queues up attacks. Needs Fixing, gets annoying. No Jumping attacks, mm. -To Building, while in general the building options are good it lacks more options to create "half floors, beams, roofs, etc, need more snap options like Valheim, otherwise it's a huge W, better than most games. Anyways, i'd rate this a solid 8/10 and could be insane if it could, when finished open for a modded community like Valheim as valheim is a 9.5 due to that. Keep it up!
Fun base build survival and progression game. Feels very nostalgic to Runescape --> You have all those skills that level up as you use them like attack, ranged, magic, minig, construction etc. They give certain bonusses/ perks and unlock skills @ certain levels. For example with ranged you unlock a spell to imbue your bow that it pierces through enemy's for a duration or lay down a snare trap. Just like in Runescape and any other survival game you need better equipment as you progress to harvest higher quality materials. You simply can't mine Mithril ore with a bronze pickaxe for example. The game is very story driven with an intro to each new major zone you enter. What is going on here and what is expected of you? Sidequest are a tad more complicated. Well not complicated but it's unclear what you're actually supposed to do 9/10 times and where to do it. This often requires a quick check on the wiki. Just like regular runescape quests. There's a lot to be gained from random drops like recipies which are called vestiges to unlock the abillity to craft certain items, weapons and armor apart from the default unlocks (this is a good thing). It stays true to the survive build dominate steps which are a must in this genre. Once you start you can barely handle a lvl 2 goblin, let alone two or three at the same time while the current endgame (adamant) you can handle fighting 3 mobs of similar level at once quite well. Just like regular runescape --> Food is quite important since it provides healing and often buffs for X duration so don't hold back on building farming plots to create proper meals to heal up. It can be tad grindy but that's part of a (PVE) survival game. The only major downside i have with the game at the moment is that all set bonusses for class specific gear are excactly the same. Even though we have multiple sets that are of similar tier and give the same amount of armor. I hope that gets changed as the game progresses to the 1,0 version
Kinda ♥♥♥♥.
One of the best survival games to date.
If you play survival games, this is the most shallow lifeless one at least during early access
PERFECT GAME
The controls suck. If you panic and press dodge multiple times, the game queues up extra dodges, which often gets you killed. The combat also seems designed around fighting one enemy at a time. As soon as you face two or more enemies witch they make you, the stamina system makes it almost impossible to dodge, attack, and defend effectively.
