A nightmare to play on the keyboard, Just imagine having spells you need to cast every couple of seconds bound to 1 and 2, while dodging and moving to aim with WASD and pressing Q every 30 seconds for your ability. Now you could get around this control nightmare a bit if you could bind multiple cast slots to the same key, But you can't that's not allowed. If the controls weren't bad enough, it's a really difficult game. Enemies are fast, hard to hit, skills like the earth spell are slow and small. Combiners that you need are rare drops, and once you get one you can either safely get something useful or gamble on an unknown recipe that could be useless. Probably costing you the run. Difficult, grindy, controller only
A fun game with a lot to discover. Once you find the right combinations you'll become a terrifying warmachine that can't be stopped!
I enjoy it a lot and come back to it from time to time. Even after playing Hades and Binding of Isaac i want to come back for basically an alchemy system of finding and mixing runes. It has a great concept. There is lots of experimentation with upgrading and mixing runes with different loadouts. it has lots of replay value... as stated there are 285 spells to discover and i havent even discovered them all. It is a hidden gem. It is worth it for the price. i would really love a Runers 2 or something with the same concept and better graphics. it is not very flashy so people might pass it up, but it is still very enjoyable. i don't know why i didn't write a review sooner because i've spent a great many hours on this game. Also the controller support is a nice bonus.
One of a great many games in my library that I have yet to play!
Good game but it keeps crashing and there is no "continue" button.
Simple y entretenido. Recomendado
Для своего времени норм но щас явно не стоит своих денег(да же на летней распродаже нет скидки).
BAD MAN BACK IN DAH DAY
I didn't play a ton of this but I do remember it was pretty fun and imaginative. It's a good little cuzomizable, magic-based roguelike.
the game feels very unpolished and not that satisfying. sometimes I get up to 4 combiners on first floor, sometimes I don't get any on the first two floors rune combinations are quite unpredictable and there's no system behind their combinations, thus trial/error does not feel that fun. many items/perks feel not useful at all, but it might be I don't understand the progression system. everything feels too flashy and tedious on early game, you have to shoot many small fast moving targets.
