Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.
You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you.
"Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land."
Experience Rune Factory reimagined! Guardians of Azuma is an all-new adventure that takes place in the never-before-seen eastern country of Azuma. Embrace your Earth Dancer powers and fight against the corruption spreading throughout Azuma to bring hope back to this once-prosperous land.
As an Earth Dancer, use the power of dance, sacred treasures, and fresh weapons like the Bow and Talisman to purify the land, your farms, and undo the Blight’s damage.
Don’t just mind the farm—rebuild entire villages! Construct and place buildings, enticing people to return to the villages and contribute. Revive the gods to bring vitality and valuable resources back to the plagued lands.
Experience beautiful Japanese-inspired character designs and aesthetics—from festivals, events, and monsters. Explore Azuma’s natural landscapes and its seasonal-themed locales steeped in tradition.
Choose between male and female protagonists, then befriend or romance any of the eligible candidates in fully voiced scenarios. Recruit these new friends to aid you in battle, too!

I haven't had as much fun with a farming/life sim game as I've had with Guardians of Azuma in a long while! If you're a fan of games like Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons with combat mechanics, this game should be a good one to try. I also really like how in depth the social interaction mechanics are in this game. They've deviated from the typical and tedious "chat and gift every day to level up hearts" system that you'd usually see in other farming/life sim titles. I literally haven't gifted a single villager, yet I've got two girlfriends. This makes getting to know villagers and interacting with them everyday an actually enjoyable experience in which each character clearly has their own unique personality. The only con that's sticking out like a sore thumb to me is how absolutely terrible the soundtrack is. I had to lower the music volume in the settings menu due to how bad the background music is, especially in the Spring village. It's not even music. It's cheap "this is what we stereotypically think of when we think of classical Japanese worlds lol" ambient sounds. Absolutely horrifically bad.

I was very adamant about this game at first. "It's a spin off, it doesn't follow the traditional Rune Factory rules!" "Why don't items have attributes? Why can't I use them in crafting freely?" Despite these and other nitpicks I had, I couldn't stop playing. Even though I complained about it, I kept playing it. Without realizing it, I was still enjoying this game. The characters have animations unlike previous RF games, which makes it even more amusing and cute to see their shenanigans. The gameplay loop is simple but rewarding, and all of the characters are really interesting. I built a bond with all of them just to learn more about their stories and how they connect with each other. Even comparing it to Rune Factory 5, this game is a MASSIVE improvement. The 3D movement doesn't feel as clunky as slow as it did in RF5, and the farming is actually tolerable and fun compared to that game. I really enjoyed this Rune Factory game, and I'm really excited for RF6 even more after playing this spin-off.
Super Gameplay und einfach für entspanntes spielen am abend, nach einem stressigem Arbeitstag
33 Hours in and I completed the "First Major Arc". Unlocked all four villages, and have all my crops and villagers making money. Still working on the main storyline, but from what I've seen so far this is definitely a good version of the Rune Factory games. I know it is not "Rune Factory 6" but I'm happy with the direction this took. I hope the primary series builds on top of this.
pretty good game, maybe the best rune factory in terms of content
What an amazing game. Style is adorable, music is reeeeally good, characters are interesting and funny and overall gameplay loop is very satisfying. I must say I'm not really a fan of previous RF games so I'd say don't be afraid to try this one if you're in the same boat with me. I like management of villages and villagers, I think this game combines farm sim and management sim features very well. RPG part is engaging and well-made too, blends flawlessly with everything else. I like the characters as well, although usually I'm not a fan of social aspect in such games. But here everyone are really nice, they're not very deep but still interesting enough for me to want to follow their stories. Overall, the game provides relaxing, interesting and beautiful experience. The only not so good part for me in this game is the main story. In my opinion, developers overcomplicated it toward the end and if not for the other parts of the game being so good I would never finish it. Although, the game offers enough interesting activities outside of the main story so I didn't find it very annoying to have to come back to it every now and then. P.S. English voice acting is amazing too, I really liked it. I rarely enjoy eng VA in my games, but here it enhanced the immersion rather than ruined it.
This has so far been my favorite Rune factory title. Its close to RF4 complete edition. The combat is more fluent the 3rd person perspective is less overwhelming like it is in RF5.. Yes the gathering is simpler and less time consuming once you get to mid game. But some people have jobs and family so they dont want the grind, thats not to say the grind is completely gone there will still be times you have to hunt down certain monsters or ores for things. I do have a few complaints the biggest one being Monster taming why not just make the people monsters and keep the same system... I feel like the romanceable characters have less effort put in them then other titles all of them fill shallow. I find myself hitting skip alot more than in other titles. lastly decorations... just why its such a waste of time
