Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.
You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you.

I love the Rune Factory games, I really enjoyed the city building aspect of this one.

i use it as a farming sim essentially and chill hack/slash game. i think its pretty good and its just something to keep me occupied at some point in life. im sure ill finish the story at some point. wanted something similar on a budget (well when it was on sale at 30 USD) of ninja gaiden with a mix of micro managing and just doing random side things and this was it i guess (fyi - preferred older variants of ninja gaiden back in PS1/2 days)
无聊且简陋的游戏👎👎👎
kanata is underrated
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma - A spinoff from a fairly big series, mix of town building, minor farm sim stuff, lots of relationship building, and a bit more "fighty" than most other sim type games. I liked: The combat was fun, not super difficult but not a pushover either. The game gives you a lot of options to customize your playstyle, with lots of skills and spells and sacred weapons. The sim aspects were focused on automation and the town-building, your townsfolk can do a lot of the farming, mining, and resource gathering letting you concentrate more on the relationship building, exploration, and combat. Most of the characters are nice, shallow as in most games in the genre but still fun. Music is really good! Fully voiced segments are pretty good even in English. I didn't like: Some bosses had attacks that were hard to see or react to and you could end up just getting squashed out of nowhere. A few characters are annoying, and are pretty involved with the story; the good ones make up for the few bad ones. The game LOVES to re-adjust your party and it's as terrible as it sounds, so many story steps or bonding events take away a character or forcibly replace a party member. One story step takes away six characters, most likely at least a few you're using and it takes many story steps after to get them all back! Since the game is so gear driven this is terrible, as you likely won't have enough other party members and equipment to take up the slack. Mixed: The graphics were fine but overall less detailed than the resource requirements and Unreal engine options imply. It does what a lot of Japanese games do and for anything not fully voiced, it'll do dumb little catchphrases (eg Tales of Arise, Ni no Kuni, modern Zelda). Finally it's very tutorial heavy in the beginning, it takes a while to have freedom to actually play the game. Overall solid if you like town building and action RPGs, but take care of what I didn't like, judge accordingly.
操作性も良くキャラデザインも好みでした。 全員とのストーリー回収は時間がかかるので、他のゲームに手を出してしまい戻ってこられるかは不明。
Tried a couple of the Rune Factory games in the past and never got into them. This one got recommended to me so I gave it a shot as it looked a bit more modern. Honestly, in the beginning I did not think I would like it but pushed through. I just saved and quit and realized it was 1a, was thinking it was maybe 10p. This game is great. Very addicting, tons to do, does not feel fetch questy. The combat is simple but satisfying. Awesome semi-cozy game with lots of depth and a good cast of characters.
I binged this game so hard between sleeping and working for 2+ weeks. If you enjoyed Rune Factory 4, you will be obsessed with this game! All the same mechanics and flow, light farming, mob and boss taming, npcs and love interests with endearing personality and wonderful character design. You see QOL everywhere as you play through the game as well. If you want a challenge I suggest playing on a harder difficulty, normal is pretty easy if you stay on top of being geared (animation locks are a thing however, you can't dodge in the middle of a swing for example). Village management is fairly simple as well. You have to totally neglect things, like proper housing and paying villager costs, in order for anything negative to happen. Two things I wish they did was assigned farming plots for crops (villagers will sow whatever higher lvl season-appropriate seed they want when farming) and set-maximum stacks of items in storage before villagers placed things in the shipping shed. i like to keep at least 10-20 of each crop/fish in storage for recipes, but villagers will throw everything(minus stone and lumber) into shipping when they're done, so you ought to make sure you check the shed at the end of the day (not that it's super important to check, its just food after all). Overall highly highly highly recommended for people who enjoy games like this, even if you're new to Rune Factory! (P.S. I suggest finding a marriage partner before the end of the main story, some endgame content is locked behind having a child.)
