Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.
You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you.
"Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land."
Experience Rune Factory reimagined! Guardians of Azuma is an all-new adventure that takes place in the never-before-seen eastern country of Azuma. Embrace your Earth Dancer powers and fight against the corruption spreading throughout Azuma to bring hope back to this once-prosperous land.
As an Earth Dancer, use the power of dance, sacred treasures, and fresh weapons like the Bow and Talisman to purify the land, your farms, and undo the Blight’s damage.
Don’t just mind the farm—rebuild entire villages! Construct and place buildings, enticing people to return to the villages and contribute. Revive the gods to bring vitality and valuable resources back to the plagued lands.
Experience beautiful Japanese-inspired character designs and aesthetics—from festivals, events, and monsters. Explore Azuma’s natural landscapes and its seasonal-themed locales steeped in tradition.
Choose between male and female protagonists, then befriend or romance any of the eligible candidates in fully voiced scenarios. Recruit these new friends to aid you in battle, too!

Reviews
I honestly didn’t want to write this review, but here we go... Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma was marketed as an evolution of its predecessor, and in many ways, it succeeds. It delivers improved graphics and a more robust combat system. However, it also continues the same trend as the previous title: moving further away from what made Rune Factory special as a farming sim. I really don’t like the direction this series has been taking. I’ve loved these games since the Nintendo DS era, and I still hope we get a title that captures the spirit of the earlier entries—where the experience felt much closer to Stardew Valley, with combat playing a secondary role and the main focus being farming and building relationships with the NPCs. That said, this is still a good game, but it feels overly saturated and, at times, not particularly fun to play.

As a big fan of the Rune Factory (RF) series, I think this is a great installment! Compared to other RF games, this one has less focus on the farming aspect and substitutes it with a village management system which I quite like. If you like decorating and small city-builder mechanics, it might be a welcome reprieve from other run-of-the-mill farm cozy games. Combat is also not too bad, but easy. And the story is pretty good! I like the overarching plot of saving Azuma and healing the land. I'm also impressed with the character models. I do miss the inclusion of 2D portraits but I'm more than happy with the look and animations in comparison to 5. The characters are just so charming and, as always, the voice cast is stunning. Definitely worth picking up whether you're new to the series or a returning fan! (preferably on sale so you can pick up the DLC with 2 extra marriage candidates).
This game is really fun, I played rune factory 4 some time ago and recently decided to play guardians of azuma. The farming is nice, sometimes I get annoyed at villagers replanting the wrong crops and messing up my aesthetically pleasing crop placement. I'm progressing the main story along with the more rpg aspects but it's good to take a break and work on developing your villages, also you get stat bonuses which can be significant from working on the villages so don't neglect them. The characters are fun, love their designs. Overall 9/10 for me, definitely some flaws but a nice way to relax for a bit.
japon stardew valley
