Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland

Yes, BUT you'd probably want to wait for a sale. Note: I only played the 8-bit version, so anything I say will reflect that mode. A very fun platformer. Outside of two rooms that gave me a surprising amount of trouble, it's fairly easy. The movement feels nice, the graphics are incredibly cute, the music is great. It's fairly short for the price tag however. It feels like a homage to NES platformers. A little bit of inspiration from Castlevania, Mario 2 (USA), Mega Man, that sorta thing.

One of the worst games I've ever played since the NES days. Even Double Dragon, Castlevania, or Contra plays better than this. Or even Mega Man or any other Disney game. Did the developers play test this game at all? This would make kids rage bait!

While this is a very short game it a fun one. The main game is deceptively easy so when the game finally rams up the difficulty at the end, it hits you like a old NES game. If I had a complain, I with the "HD" version had a zoomed out mode, since the game was clearly designed to be 8-bit first and it's hard to tell where it's safe to jump.

Surprisingly really fun! What originally got me interested on this game was learning this is actually a brand new NES game running trough emulation with optional HD sprites running on top which is such a cool thing to do. As far as gameplay goes I'd say its on the "good" side of the spectrum as far as NES games go. Its simple but it does get surprisingly challenging at points. Visually both 8bit and HD visuals are very pleasing on the eyes. The sound track is PHENOMENAL that boss theme will live on my head rent free for a while but the entire ost is a banger. Now yes it's a very short game (I 100% completed it in 2 hours) and some might think the price is too high for the amount of content you get but in my opinion the worth of this release goes beyond the game part. Get it on sale if you must. On a separate note, props for including the NES rom so we can play it on an emulator of choise or even on real hardware!

90s baby's gotta do, what a 90s baby gotta do! I am surprised this game didn't get much traction or sales, since it has the iconic Rugrats branding. Being a fan who grew up with the show, and a big Mario fan this game to me was something special. It is a competent Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) / Doki Doki Panic clone. It is a short game. In fact very short, I beat twice on Baby and Big Kid difficulty in around 4 hours. I still think it is a fun game even if short in length, very difficult in some areas, especially the final level. I just wish the game had a lot more content. There is a NES Rom in the game folder that you can use to play on an emulator if you wanted to which is a neat little extra included.

เกมที่ดัดแปลงจากการ์ตูนสุดคลาสสิกของ Nickelodeon หวนคืนสู่เกมแนวแพลตฟอร์มยุค '80 ที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากเกมระดับตำนานอย่าง Super Mario Bros. 2 (หรือ Super Mario USA) เล่นเป็นเหล่าเด็กรักแรทส์ที่มีความสามารถต่างกันไป บางคนกระโดดสูง บางคนมีพละกำลังมากกว่างี้ ผจญภัยไปตามด่านต่างๆภายในบ้าน พบเจอกับเหล่าศัตรูและบอสหน้าตาอันแสนคุ้นเคย อาทิเช่น Big Baby Boy ในฝันร้ายของแองเจลิก้า จากการ์ตูนตอนนึง ตัวเกมมีระดับง่าย ไปจนถึงยาก ซึ่งถ้าว่ากันตามตรงระดับพวกนี้ไม่ได้ทำให้ด่านยากขึ้นสักเท่าไหร่ เพียงแต่ว่าในแต่ละระดับจะลดทอนตัวละครลงไปเท่านั้น ก็อย่างเช่น.. ระดับง่าย จะมีจำนวนชีวิตไม่จำกัด ถ้าตายแล้วเกิดใหม่ได้เรื่อยๆ และสามารถเลือกสลับตัวละครระหว่างอยู่ในฉากเพื่อผ่านด่านง่ายๆ ส่วนระดับปกติจะมีจำนวนชีวิตให้ นอกนั้นก็เหมือนเดิม และระดับยากเลือกเล่นเป็นตัวละครได้แค่ตัวเดียว ซึ่งถ้าตายแล้วจะขึ้น Game Over ทันที ความยาวเกมนั้นอาจจะสั้นไปหน่อย เพราะแนวทางเกมคือตามยุคเกมตลับมาเลย หลายคนอาจมองว่าไม่คุ้มกับราคาเต็ม จะรอซื้อตอนลดก็ได้ล่ะนะ พูดถึงยุคเกมตลับ.. ตัวเกมสามารถสลับไปใช้กราฟิกเป็น NES ได้ด้วยนะ หรือก็คือการฟิก 8-bit ที่เหมือนหลุดมาจากเกมเก่าของ Famicom นั่นเอง
