It is verrrrry dull. Same enemies, the bosses are just bigger normal enemies. Little variance in how you play. I love rougelites, but I wouldn't play this one. Pick up ROR2.
a fun dead by daylight rougelike spinoff perfect for fans of dead by daylight and rougelikes.
Disclaimer: I was gifted a copy by another steam user (not a dev afaik) Wasn't terrible but also not really what I was expecting. - Story: 0 / 10. You know that one meme "an effort was made"? When it comes to (single-player) story in this game, no effort was made. - Controls: 9 / 10. I really like that you can remap things on both kb and controller. For the most part controls felt pretty decent. Not perfect, but decent. - Characters: 3 / 10: You get 3 characters total (at least that I have found in single player). Magic user, Archer, Sword user. There is some variety but not tons - Gameplay: 4 / 10. What I thought would be a lot of fun ended up being pretty samey overall and grew boring pretty fast. Maybe if you do co-op/online play or are the type that really likes doing NG+ for a more difficult challenge, then you will like it more than me. But for me it ended up being pretty bland.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ **Recommended** ˖ ࣪ ⊹ **What the Fog** is a nice little game, and I enjoyed it. It is simple, fun, and has that chaotic co-op feeling that makes it easy to play for a bit and have a good time. ⋆˚꩜。 The gameplay is about surviving waves of enemies, working together, collecting resources, upgrading, and trying to make it through the fog without everything falling apart. It has that arcade-style feeling where things can get hectic fast, but that is part of the fun. ✧ I liked that it was easy to jump into and understand. It does not feel overly complicated, but there is still enough going on to keep it entertaining. ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Overall, **What the Fog** is a fun, simple, and enjoyable little game. I had a good time with it and would recommend it if you want something quick, chaotic, and fun to play. ✨
Got the game for free when it first released, fun game but not a lot of replayability fun game for like an hour then feels repetitive. I wouldn't personally buy it
I can't believe they tricked me into buying this
Весьма скучный и однообразный рогалик.
i love this lowkey good game, but i hate that there is 2 players only, no upgrades that you can buy, 3 characters the game is a good idea, but with a big minuses
The gameplay is pretty solid not what i expected from this, It feels like a arcade game with good mechanics, its a simple game, waves of enemy's in levels while you kill them for points to access the next level, with a DBD theme to it. I would prob only play with friends as this solo wouldn't feel right. Def worth a dollar.
Bought it for me, and my BF, if it's not good enough to entertain when playing with my favorite person, then yikes. A roguelike where your upgrades scale linearly, how fun.
