Works great on the Steam Deck!
ROVA is a fun game, runs very well on my pc plus the graphics and music are very well done. The game play is good, the missions are well structured, who couldn't like the colonists. I also love how customisable the colour on the rover is. The UI is very user friendly and easy to use not just that you can also customise the colonists too. This is a great game for anyone to play and there is lots to explore, lots find. It is a shame not many games are like this one.
I've been following this game since I first played the Demo.. even dropped a suggestion on their TIktok for one of the crew hats (which sadly I haven't found yet. I look forward to when I do!), so it was great to finally experience it properly. It's still just as charming as ever, I love all the crew members and finding new things in the world is always exciting. As everything is still early access, the story isn't finished yet, but what I have experience has me eagerly awaiting the next big update. Colour me intrigued! I hope more people play this once 1.0 drops. I know some people prefer to avoid Early Access til the full release, and this game deserves more love than it currently has.
Cosmosweet as heck. A lovely stroll designed entirely for your inner child's space-o-naut cabin-in-a-tree.
It successfully passed an evening for me. It looks lovely and is a nice easy relaxing play. It ran ok on my laptop, the odd jitter, but it is Linux. I think the controls with mouse and keyboard could use some work (or some resetting options). I'd really like to be able to turn with the mouse, the A and D keys felt too harsh but it was manageable. I caught Colin and Carl dancing in the hab bedroom, not sure they were ment to do that, but it was amusing.
Such a chill game! I really love the slow-paced vibe of this and I'm looking forward to spending more time as a cute robo-doggo!
Played this ages ago back at WASD and WOW What a change, the devs did an incredible job. Such an epic cozy game and the music is top notch. Would hugely recommend, perfect if you just want to have a nice drive around weird planet to take pictures and explore. Love the creatures too!
So far this game is really promising and relaxing. Throughout the development devs have been really communicated and active on their socials which is so nice to see and clearly shows they have a good vision for the game, giving me great hope that this already enjoyable game will get more content in the future! Travelling across an alien planet, getting lost in a crystal cave and finding new customisation for my people have all been great fun so far, and I can see myself enjoying this in my down time when I need a relaxing evening so will obviously recommend it on that merit alone. That's not even taking into account the fantastic art style and the lovely robot dog that is Rova! I really can't wait to see where the devs take this game, and maybe we can meet some aliens in the future!
Cute and cosy. Would love a map and a way to delete photos that have been taken, but maybe I haven't progressed to that bit yet.
