Absolutely BEAUTIFUL game! Imagine Flower but in space and without the six-axis controls and cutscenes, and you have Stardust. It's just overall a really pretty and relaxing game. If I didn't have a big backlog to play through, I could probably sit through this game for hours tbh. Will probably come back at points in the future to play again though whenever I want to wind down and chill. One gripe I have with this game though is how the pause menu is also mapped to the speed-up button. This isn't needed; only for the start button. That said though, highly, HIGHLY recommend if you're into artsy games! Pretty generous price too, I gotta be honest.
This game is C H I L L. If you're looking for a game where you can relax without using your brain hard, this is the perfect game for you. ✨💫

Muito bonito e relaxante, uma explosão de cores! :)
It is an absolutely beautiful game! I highly recommend. The game is beautiful. Downright stunning. Every color, everything in it! It captivated my attention just from looking at the title screen. Atmospherically, it also took my heart. The music and sound effects never assaulted my ears, and actually made me calm and focused. For replaying it, you can do that as many times as you want! There's no story, only a calming place where you travel around collecting star-dust and becoming the prettiest astro-body. One complaint is the instant inversion of the y-axis. You can change this in the settings, but when I first started playing, I got confused because up was down, and vice versa. I also thought that it would be nice to implement a colorblind mode, for those who can't see the full spectrum of colors. The tutorial was very simple. It taught you how to navigate and what to collect to grow your astro-body. It was very simple and fun! I love how the collections of star-dust are called shinies. It made me very happy. All in all, this game has made me very happy! I would purchase it for 10 dollars if that was the price. My experience was over the moon, and I will happily keep on playing this game for hours on end.
it's like.. ASMR for the eyes o_o I played it with the game music on and then I played it with my own music Both ways are great! if you need to relax and play something that isn't overwhelming, get this =)
ive had stardust for a long time exept i had to delete most games off my hard drive due to lack of space at the time but from the moment i started stardust,i knew it was a real gem,i kept forgetting to add a review. its not a complex idea, but some of the best games have come through being simple-as any 70s,80s or 90s gamer will have you know. the music is deeply unstimulating and calming and the entire concept of stardust-collecting up stars to build your galaxy canvas is simple enough to follow no matter who you are yet it makes you lose yourself and forget your problems for a moment. another great aspect of stardust may be one the developer didnt even realise-it is its a hugely multi sensory experience which for many young people and adults with autism spectrum conditions or sensory processing disorder coud especialy be used as a way to calm their senses and behaviors and posibly help them softly back down from an aproaching meltdown or shutdown. another good point is there is very little language used to get to playing the game which may also be an extra benefit to autistic people all over the spectrum or those with intelectual disability, but providing a control pad like a wired xbox one pad is used as keyboards woud make it harder if not imposible in some cases given autistics may struggle with fine motor skills and/or understanding or processing language. --this is where i wonder woud offering a easy read/pictorial mode help for those who struggle with the language used or for ESOL? the fact that star dust can apeal to many different people or abilities is another big plus for me,youve shown what you can do with minimalism instead of going all out and filling it with over the top raytracing complex graphics with people ranting on at each other about their frame rate per second or texture quality. stardust just works without any of that-the discussion board speaks for itself,no ones posted about crashing or how much they dislike the game, leave that to the fancy pants triple A games. whether you are autistic, intelectualy dissabled or you are a uni student or you are retired etc, just get it to chill out with, your not paying a lot for it compared to your more expensive indie or even £50+ triple A games and it goes to help a developer go on to make newer games. these are not negatives but a couple of things i woud love to be thought of for the game woud be\; # full control of the game coming from the controller if chosen-instead of part control/part keyboard. #easy read and pictorial mode on start menu, #a switch mode added, and by switch i dont mean nintendo i mean the specialist tool used by many of us to control computers or other devices to easily work to our needs-my switch has got just one giant button for example, but for people i use mine for sensory devices but for people who use them for gaming it coud be a way at making stardust more acomodating. #an open world stardust option for those who woudnt be to overloaded by using stardust alongside other people , i dont know how well itd work but people coud communicate with each other like in meadow (pictorial/emotions) or set written communication (FORZA horizon games) or the many FPSs which use voice chat for people who can communicate via voice. i know this woud cost a lot in servers though. i know you are probably done with stardust but i just thought id mentione it.
its good for relaxing time. but id like the mouse as an option for control of the Stardust
Jueguito perfecto para desconectar de la realidad (recomiendo escuchar música relajante mientras para acompañar la experiencia) Bien hecho :)
You are stardust, you travel in a void, you collect spark to make a home of the void, YOU. ARE. STARDUST, and that is simply amazing, though i wish the game keep score of how many sparks you collected. Definitely adding to my "cool games category"
This is a lovely, beautiful, uplifting, peaceful, calming therapeutic game. It's so simple anyone can play it. If you're on steamdeck you can get through to gameplay with the touch screen but after that it's fully one handed, one joystick operation. Very simple, very beautiful, very engrossing. I would like to see more achievements or some other way to see how many sprites I've collected but otherwise it's a perfect game.
