About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

Reviews
Get ready to crap your pants while hiding under a table. This game is scary, but it's also pretty clever with how it stubbornly maintains its immersion - whether that be with the C.A.T., the many terminals, or detailed world. Routine doesn't do anything new per say, but it delivers sci-fi horror in an immaculate package. Yes, there were a couple puzzles I found obtuse. But once I understood what the game was looking for me, there was really only one puzzle that really stumped me. Mostly, it was a decent challenge without slowing me down. People complain about the length, but for horror, this game is the perfect length. If you loved Alien Isolation, but felt like that game overstayed its welcome, or you enjoy the Amnesia games, check Routine out. Just don't forget your diaper.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love the style of this game! I was getting into the story, but I have to say: IT'S NOT FUN. It's endless frustration. I put up with annoying enemies that can't be killed in the first half. They were pretty dumb, and there were places you could hide. Without spoiling much the second half turns into Alien Isolation except you have complex puzzles to solve while constantly running from the alien, oh and the alien can turn invisible, oh and it can see through walls and solid objects. The game looks amazing. It doesn't play nearly as well. There's a reason only 30% of players got to Chapter 5 with even less finishing the game. I'm not even sure I want to attempt it again after my last death. I'll probably just look up a video if I care about the ending. Edit: I did beat the game, but I still don't recommend it. It would have been a MUCH more enjoyable experience without the jump scares and monsters. The atmosphere was great without them, and they simply were not fun to try and play around.
I usually don't play horrorgames too much. Too many jumpscares, not enough substance, generally the whole "It is a kids thing but oh no, there is blood and guts" theme that has been popular recently is just not my style. Boy am I glad some voices recommended Routine, because this is already my horrorgame of the year. The visuals are amazing as is the sound design and soundtrack, which are on all levels the highest quality and fit perfectly into eachother. Even though the genre doesn't fit, I have to say that Starfield wishes it had the charm and thorough estatic of this game. The story is intruiging and the horror is a solid 60 percent atmosphere and 40% chasing, which is a perfect ratio. I love everything that was done with this game and waiting 12 years for it must've been a pain. I only heard of it after it was published but I seriously hope evryone is as stocked about thus release as I am. Truely something that will stay with me for a good while and will be fondly remembered
Creepy atmosphere, various puzzles, upsetting creatures. Give it a shot.
Не понятно что делать...
