About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

Verreh goodziez, the visuals feel allot like Alien Isolation. Story was alright and the monsters felt fairly balanced. Though you can learn their behaviours after a few hours of playing with them, did get as few scares out of me at times though hehe
The maximum field-of-view setting is extremely low and causes motion sickness. Also the game is really really ugly. Even when you turn off the film grain it just looks like you have to see the world through filthy glasses. No thanks. Refund.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the vibes are strong with this one. its best to go in as blind as possible. Turn the lights off and put on your headphones. i was able to lean into the experience and got some fantastic scares well worth the price. probably the scariest game i've ever played
VERY IMMERSIVE! I love uncovering the story and piecing it together,.. Just when you think you've finished, the story continues to surprise you in many ways... Who thought a moon base in the 70's could be so scary...
I absolutely adored this game, I really like space and I really like horror and creepy ambience in games, the design, be it graphic and audio is very good, personally I think one of the best. The game is fully immersive, no HUD, no highlighted paths that tell you where to go or what to do and when to do it, you gotta use some brain instead of just following instructions to get them done and move on; I did get stuck in bits at first but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I definitely recommend it if you like puzzles, horror and overall indie games. The story is also very enjoyable, it liked it, the visuals and cutscenes that went along with it, mwah, chef kiss, it is also well optimized :) so no need for pricey PC components. God I loved this game. Huuuuuuge recommendation, play it somewhere dark and for the love of God use headphones, its totally worth it.
Super cool, super creepy. If you like SCP themed stories, or liked Control, this might be a good fit for you. Kinda slow, pretty short.
Waited for over a decade for this game and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is engrossing and at times suffocating (in the best sense possible). The first half of the game had me on edge, I was always unsettled that a Type-05 might catch/find me. The second half of the game had me terrified, Entity A is horrifying and I had to nope out of the game the first time I encountered it. I love the way there's no HUD or maps, everything is handled through the C.A.T (Cosmonaut Assistance Tool), pausing the game is non-existent as the game continues even as you fidget around menus. Hitting pause will not save you from a threat lurking around the corner. These features make the game immersive on a scale that most games cannot achieve. There's so much symbolism here as well, particularly when you make it to the second half of the game: The Ward, The Canal, Induction, Echography, etc. are all terms the have a symbolic parallel to the events in the story and have to do with gestation, maternity and birth. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves atmospheric horror, it cannot be beat. I commend Lunar Software for releasing this masterpiece and hope we hear about their future projects soon.
Rare that a game with realistic visuals really enraptures me with its aesthetics, but this was a great one. The casette-futurism is pulled off excellently, and the designwork, shaders, filters, etc really sell the experience. Really scary too, for me at least. It def preyted on some particular fears of mine in the back half of the game and got me jumping. Easy recommend.
In this horror game I felt genuine fear. Not the kind that I could become numb to easily, but a recurring shock and discomfort. Deep enough that couldn't help but double check every corner
