Five years.
Five years on the run, spent hiding from surveillance cameras, police checks ... and friends.
In an attempt to elude the cult that's been chasing him, former Miami detective Lazarus “Lars” Bundy is in Italy working incognito for a security agency when his client is murdered in cold blood by a sharpshooter. As the blood stain slowly spreads on the victim's clothes, Lars realizes there is only one way to keep his past from catching up with him: solve the case before the police and bring the perpetrator to justice as quickly and silently as possible.
A senseless murder, conflicting clues and an indistinct lead will thrust the former detective on another thrilling journey around the world, from majestic Rome to the Land of the Rising Sun by way of Jordan and India. With help from an old ally he thought he’d left behind for good, Lars finds himself swept up in a case far more complex and dangerous than he ever could have imagined, filled with international mystery and mysticism. And all the while, a much more personal danger lurks close at hand, one that Lars is determined to suppress and keep hidden from the world.

This is literally one of the best point and click adventure games I have played in a long time. I have been a huge P and C gamer for decades. The first entry of this game is really good, and this one is even better. The voice acting, the STORY, the ART, the humor, character connections, puzzles...... It nails them all. This is an extremely impressive game for the genre for a low key/ small developer, Unreal.

A Must-Play for Broken Sword Fans (With a Few Caveats) Overall Rating: Recommended If you are a fan of the Broken Sword series, you will feel right at home here. It’s clear that the developers have a deep love for the classics, and for the most part, they’ve managed to capture that same "globe-trotting mystery" magic. The Good: - Voice Acting & Puzzles: The voice acting is top-tier and really elevates the experience. The puzzles are exactly what I look for in the genre—satisfying "head-scratchers" that require some actual thought without feeling unfair. However some of them required some tedious tries. - Linux Support: For my fellow Linux users, I can confirm the game runs perfectly. No crashes, no glitches, just a smooth experience from start to finish. -Atmosphere: While the characters were "just okay" for me, the overall vibe and art style kept me engaged throughout. The Not-So-Good: - Story & Recap: As someone who didn’t play the first game (The Hand of Glory), I found the recap to be a bit lacking. It didn’t quite give me enough context to feel fully invested in the deep lore from the start. I’d recommend newcomers watch a playthrough of the first game or read a detailed summary beforehand. - Pacing & Ending: The game feels strongest in the first half. Once I reached the India portion, I felt a noticeable dip in quality and polish. The ending itself was a bit average—not bad, but it didn't quite live up to the buildup of the earlier chapters. Quality of Life Wishlist: - One minor grievance: walking everywhere can get a bit tedious. I really hope the developers add a "double-click to run" feature for Lars in the next installment. It would make exploration much snappier. Final Verdict: Despite the late-game pacing issues, this was a very enjoyable experience. It scratched that specific point-and-click itch that few modern games manage to reach. I’m already looking forward to the third installment and will be picking it up on Day 1! Note: AI used to polish the text but it fulls reflect my opinion
As someone who enjoyed the first game a lot, I can safely say that the sequel improves upon it in every way. • Puzzles are logical and well designed apart from a few that were quite frustrating. • Characters are likeable and interesting, while the voice acting is excellent. • The story was well written and intriguing. • The background art is simply stunning and is some of the best I’ve seen in an adventure game. I lost count of the number of times that I’d stop playing so that I could take in the beautiful scenery. If you enjoy globetrotting adventures in the style of Broken Sword (which the developer took inspiration from) then I can’t recommend this game enough.
Fantastic point and click grand-adventure game with very high production values that leaves nothing to be desired. As a Broken Sword fan (and Revolution in general), this is a top class 1 game. Missing a couple interface comfort features such as a keyboard binding to open the inventory, but flawless otherwise.
These are just my first impressions and I’ll update this review once I’ve finished the game. So far, I’m really enjoying this charming old-school point-and-click adventure. The simple, hand-drawn art style gives it a lovely nostalgic feel, while the classic gameplay is easy to get into and fun to explore. The dialogue is definitely one of the highlights so far. The characters are funny, witty, and full of personality, which makes even the smaller interactions enjoyable. I’m having a great time with it so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the adventure develops. If you enjoy classic graphic adventures with a charming retro style this one is definitely worth checking out.
Totally not biased backer: Great sequel that improved almost everything the first game was already good at. :) I really enjoyed it and even though it took me 14hrs to finish, it felt way shorter, because it was that good and the puzzles were pretty fair and logical (dunno if new players to the genre feel different) - so it had a nice flow through the whole game; there was only one instance I needed a little nodge in the right direction - the problem was that I saw one thing it differently then it was, so I didn't even think about doing what had to be done. On a different note: the characters, which reappeared, had more developement and that made them even better than they already were. The story had 1-2 turns I didn't see coming and I'm so looking forward to a third game! If you like point'n'click adventures get this and it's prequel!

Grazie mille!!!
