Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is ridiculously fun. I replay it periodically because it's just that good, and I keep checking back on the developer here on Steam to see if he's put out a new game. It's been ten years since this was put on Steam (at the time of this writing), and I'm still hoping for more games like this. Just a great game.
Cool concept, terrible execution. Clumsy and inconsistent controls. Known bugs unfixed after a decade. Doesn't work at high resolution, no resolution controls in options - just windowed or full screen. For it to be playable at all I have to play in a tiny window that takes up 1/6 of my screen. There's forum posts complaining about this dated to 2016. Gameplay is sorta turn based, and accurate movement is critical. Most of the time you jump from place to place. The jump arc shown in game does not accurately model the games collisions and you frequently do not end up where it said you would. Judging from the hint popup that says "the jump arcs are a lie" the developers are well aware of this and never bothered to fix it. I want it to be better than it is. The vision is cool. Ultimately I just found it frustrating. Most of the difficulty is due to the poor implementation. If you're gonna get it pick it up on sale.

really really cool in concept, really really frustrating in execution, would love to see another try at this kind of game, but this version just doesn't function how it should. 6/10
Quick! Slash that guy! PAUSE... Oh, uh... Slash THAT guy! PAUSE... Okay...
Ronin instantly reminded me of Mark of the Ninja, but the gameplay couldn't be more different. It's a side-scrolling action platformer with a turn-based twist. Not something you see very often... if ever. The art style isn't the greatest, but it fits the game well enough. The gameplay is what kept me coming back, with each encounter feeling like a little tactical puzzle. The story, on the other hand... I honestly don't remember much of it. Either it wasn't very memorable, or my brain decided to overwrite it with more important information. All in all, I'd recommend it. It's one of those hidden indie gems that's easy to overlook but well worth playing. Turn based game that makes you feel like a ninja who can dodge bullets.
Promising concept but imprecise controls spoil it. Jumps don't get to platforms you feel like they should. Even though you can see the enemy's line of fire you won't know if its going to hit you because your hitbox is weird. A tooltip reads "the jump indicator is a lie", girl, the jump indicator is half the game. This would make the game unplayably frustrating except that it autosaves before every fight. This compromise makes planning your kills beforehand even less advisable so you end up thinking on the fly. Thinking on the fly also isn't great because there aren't that many ways for you to interact with the enemies. In combat you can't move to the side or climb up walls and you can only kill with ledge kills and stabs. Maybe worth trying if you liked the games that inspired this, sometimes the world works how you expect and you feel like a ninja
I like the concept and the aesthetics, but oh my god is this an unfairly frustrating game. The difficulty doesn't come from tactical complexity or puzzle-solving: it stems from how inconsistent the game is. Despite being ostensibly turn-based, sometimes it randomly turns real-time (seemingly because you momentarily went out of the enemies' field of vision). The jumping arc which is supposed to show where you land is not always reliable (e.g., you might fall right through a platform the arc tells you you're about to land on). The ridiculous "9 seconds to lockdown" mechanic forces the player to jump back and forth around the level to make sure they are seen by every enemy instead of doing actual combat; and sometimes, the game bugs out and shows that you have more seconds left than you really do, before suddenly going into lockdown. I could handle it if this were a hardcore tactics game or a puzzle that forced me to replay multiple times to work out the solution. I could bear with it if it were an action game that required fast reflexes and surgical precision. But it's neither of those things. It's just trying the same stuff all over again, failing in a different way because of how inconsistent the game is, and then restarting from the checkpoint while the rage inside you slowly reaches a boiling point. It wouldn't have even taken that much to fix this, but the developer seemingly was content with leaving snarky hints like "The jumping arc is a lie" instead of making it actually reliable.
short, fun, and engaging just like most of my short friends
swordpoint 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
