Romancing SaGa 2™

This game having mixed reviews is a crime. romancing saga 2 is one of the most unique rpgs i have ever played. i highly recommend it

It's Dark Souls from JRPGs. Its hard but very rewarding after you win!! I always waited for a translation for this game from the snes rom that never came and now we have a official translation and a remaster. The history is being buid piece by piece during the conversations with npcs and the events. You by yourself will have to fill the gaps and tie the knots. You are facing creatures from centuries ago, what are their motivations? The legends about them are true? They were human before? The history is vague and this is the charm of the plot. The only downgrade to me is that even the time advance hundreds of years the visual of the cities don't change and the npcs are exact the same except for the recruitable npcs and Hiraga. This annoys me and should be adressed by the developers. The quests always have multiple conclusions depending on your actions, and the quests are very dinamic. You really feel you are on a epic quest who crosses the centuries. The game is highly strategic, specially in the mid and endgame, you must exploit everything the game give you from magic, equipment, formations, othewise you will perish. This game is a masterpiece. To the last boss... Hasten time...

game slaps port sucks

SFC版をベースにグラフィックやUIをブラッシュアップした作品。 本作はSFC版よりも快適にプレイできるので楽しめてます。 やはり本作の特徴は皇帝継承システム＆フリーシナリオシステム。 自由度が非常に高く、誰を皇帝にするか、どのイベントを進めるか、 どの武器を開発するか、どのスキルを優先的に育てるか、、、 とにかく自由に物語を進めていくことができます。 ただ難易度はかなり高いです。 なのでRPG初心者にはあまりお勧めはできないですね。 初見のボスにボコボコにされるなんて日常茶飯事です。 ただ陣形を変えたり、見切りを覚えたり、術や技等で適切な対策を たてればあっさり勝てたりする。 そのあたりの戦略を考えるのも楽しいです。 当時プレイしてた人や、骨太なRPGが好みの人にはお勧めできます。

This was my first SaGa game and I absolutely enjoyed it! Nowadays it's easier to recommend the remake, however. This was also their first SaGa remaster, so it's not as fully featured as the later ones. Still, if you want an open-ended SNES era JRPG with a unique structure and mechanics, I can definitely recommend this!

面白いが音量をコントロールできないのでそこがマイナス点だ

It could use a few more music tracks, but its a fine game other than that.
