About
Travel back to an old, wonderful age. A magical era, remembered fondly as "The Nineties." A time when battle was much more tactical, when both heroes and villains, courteously waited their turn to attack one another.
An age when you didn't have to frantically smash the mute button upon hearing a shrill, over-the-top voice-actor deliver dialog, because, back then, you simply read it, and heard the appropriate voice in your mind. Journey back to the golden period in history, where The Dragons' Twilight II takes place.
After deciding to embark on a final "mini-adventure;" one more thrill before accepting their boring adult fates, three ordinary youths' lives become forever changed when they cross paths with a familiar bounty hunter, whose motives propel them into the adventure of a lifetime.
The Age of Dragons draws to a close, and the ever meddling Elder Dragon, Kaia, won't stop until she rights the atrocities wrought by her own kind. The forbidden resurrection is nearly at hand. What could possibly go wrong?

Like Dragon's Twilight I this game shines with a great story, memorable characters and challenging combat.
This game is actually really well put together. The encounter system is smart, easy to grind. The weapon/armor modifications and crafting system is super clever, and allows several approaches to each players attack style. Story, characters, and dialog aren't bad surprisingly. Only downside is it looks like there's only ~20 or so hours, as stated in the description too.
I'm mixed on this one. I adored the original, and I still recommend it, but I can't in good faith say that this game maintained the same strengths. The good things I can say about it are that I enjoy it mechanically as a turn-based RPG, and the new cast of main characters actually have a solid dynamic together, and had potential to really work as the Crux of the game, while simultaneously giving this sequel an independent identity from the first game. Potential that was not realized, as you're barely through what amounts to a prologue before this game starts bringing back elements from the previous one in a fashion that at it's best makes the game feel like there's a more important and interesting story going on behind the scenes that you aren't seeing, but actually just bogs the game down in lazy sequel writing when you do finally get involved, where this new cast of characters have no motivations of their own except to tie up plot threads from the previous game out of a vague and uninteresting sense of do-goodery that just takes for granted that the player wants it to happen, so of course they're on-board. It's not aweful, but it's telling that the first time I hit a boss fight that was actually challenging and I didn't know how to beat, I kinda just lost interest. The Story isn't worth pushing forward for, so there's nothing keeping me going once the gameplay is momentarily an obstacle. It might get better down the road, I wouldn't be too badly shocked, but I'm not willing to push through for it. Damn shame, I was looking forward to this one.
First off, I want to say that the creator of the game is personal friend of mine and gave me the game in order to test, play and stream it when I'm able. Playing and thinking of the game objectively while trying to enjoy it. That said, there's definite improvements going from the first one to this one in terms of overall quality. He put more resources into it such as commissioned art and music. It definitely shows in that regard as things feel more... alive. I do enjoy the way you can do more customizations with each character in terms of spells, skills, and so on. The crafting system is simple, yet adds a nice touch to it. As with any RPG, the battles *can* get grindy, especially if you're wanting to over level or save a ton of money, but even so, they can be enjoyable. The story and characters are well written and humorous, which is a big plus. Mechanically, there's been bugs, but the developer is good about fixing or making workarounds as long as they're brought to his attention. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone that likes the indie rpg type games.
Wow! So well done. I really enjoyed Dragons' Twilight I, but Dragons' Twilight II is even better! Classic RGP - a nice story, different characters with different attributes, exploration, a few puzzles, some crafting, good battle system, visible monsters....honestly I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish. My only negative is that now I've finished the game!
An outstanding sequel. Challenging, long, great quests, plenty of items, crystals, orbs, magic. A truly fun rpg with a great story line. Plenty of weapons and armor that have various characteristics with different abilities to use. Many areas and towns to explore. Highly recommended.
great story - interesting development of story - loved the characters- some battles need a lot of strategy to be able to defeat main bosses- a guide would be helpful as would an overall map
My guys have just finished their first "adventure" and come back home, so I just popped out of the game to say that, so far, I have very much enjoyed this game. More even than the first game which, for me, became a little tedious after a while. I like those glowing crystals that allow me to restore my health and MP and, at the same time, brings back the enemies I have killed in that area, as well as the potions from the flowers. That way I was able to grind for a while and level up a little in the beginning, to get a better start on the next set of enemies. I also like the ability to hop over places to reach other goodies. And that's it so far. Good job all round. --- --- --- Having played now for quite a while, I just wanted to express my thanks to the developer for having done such a great job with this game. I like it so much more than the first game. It has lots of stuff going on, and is entertaining and fun. (big thumbs up)
It's a fun game that involves a good deal of strategy to keep your characters alive!
I can highly recommend this game. The developer has used clever changes in plot to make the story continually interesting. Just when you think things are getting predictable you are thrown a curve. The variety of music is excellent and the background scenes in battle and in travel mode are carefully done. Gameplay is interesting and fun. If you get stuck the developer is right there to help with advice. A great addition to the library of any old school rpg fan.
