FINAL FANTASY V (Old ver.)

This is the best version of Final Fantasy 5. Objectively. People hate Yoshitaka Amano's artwork and the sprites designed to resemble another Final Fantasy game on the phones this was released on and those people are afflicted by Terminal Nostalgia where they will tell you this game's rounded sprites look bad but filtering the old SNES sprites through a CRT TV that melts their eyes to round-out the sprites looks better. It is a sign of how bad the autism rate has gotten. This version of FF5 might not be available for purchase anymore, but if you know some place on the Internet that may have Archived this game, you can obtain it there. FF3 may have invented the Job System but FF5 was the first to solidify the idea of building characters by learning skills and equipping them with other jobs. This version also has the 4 GBA jobs of Gladiator, Cannoneer, Oracle, & Necromancer, as well as a post-game dungeon that is specifically tied into the story. do not buy those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Pixel Rescamsters - they are never getting the bonus content you used to get for supporting a company. The only real problem with this version is one minor bug - for some reason if you have a USB controller plugged in and turned on when you boot up the game, you only see a white screen. Close the game out, turn the controller off, restart the game and THEN turn the controller on and it works just fine. Of special note is that this version has TWENTY save slots. I hated the fact that other FF remakes on this platform didn't give you that many save slots, this is great given how many points-of-no-return are in this game (as well as memorable scenes that you might wanna replay).
